I'm not overly impressed with Broner

Future P4P king? I really don't think so.

All I see is what appears to be Andre Berto badly impersonating Floyd.

I don't see the star quality is this kid, all I see is a fully pledged welterweight that has feasted on nothing but midgets and a glass chinned Litzau.

Legs are VERY far apart, footwork isn't very good but does have good upper body movement, not a very good jab, lunges in almost like hes trying to bellyflop his opponent, open all night long for the left hook.

A big guy in a small, very weak division if you ask me.

Lmao this guy is seriously like 5ft8½ & rehydrates to 155

Honestly look at this, cardigan & a tad closer to the camera or not this guy fcukin dwarfs Alexander & Maidana!

Seconded. Not the least bit impressed by Broner. Not superficially. Not forensically. Not intuitively.

Thirded, not at all impressed by this racist clown. His fans insist he's the next PPV star but I don't see it, I do see him begging to get back on HBO after his career takes a hit. He's constantly bashing ESPN fighters but that's where his future is headed.

He's smart in the ring and backs it up with natural talent. If you don't see anything special in that then you are foolish.

Also I never understand that approach that I consider completely ******, that big fighters should move up. Every fighter has right to fight at weight-class that's most comfortable for him. If he makes 130 easy, why shouldn't he fight there?
But coming back to his ability, he's tremendous physical talent. Explosive athlethe, strong as hell, powerful and fast. He's also good fighter in general, but I don't see him as a next great thing just because he doesn't seem to be natural in what he does. When I compare him to other great fighters, he always seem to be thinking much slower than them, looks like he has to think about throwing given shot before he does it, he doesn't seem to adjust that fast. I had him loosing 2 fights in his career so far because of that.
I think he's very good, but not special, he'll find guy who will be able to expose him somewhere down the road, but I'm pretty sure it will take really damn good fighter to do it.
              2 fights huh? What ones?

He landed all the meaningful shots in the Ponce fight, so thats one I disagree with.

I cant even imagine what other fight you had him losing.

I don't hate him, I am just struggling to see what majority of others see in him.
He is young and I wish him well hes just a fighter that don't jump out to me personally and say ''I'm something special''

His opposition has ******, no idea how he makes weight but he does.

He looks to me like a guy trying to be something he isn't.
IMO hes a very top heavy guy with a majorly wide stance that over-thinks everything and it just looks so unnatural. You can see him thinking, he isn't fluid, everything is forced with him.

You can literally see him stop & think and you know what he is thinking.
I honestly watched him vs Eloy Perez and I could almost predict his every move.

Time will tell. I don't see anyone in his path that can beat him.

I can tell what Floyd is going to do before he does it. Its a lot easier from the tv screen. Doesnt make Floyd not good.

Future P4P king? Lol, that remains to be seen. That being said, Broner is talented. I'm no big fan of him, but he IS talented. And, in terms of his size, he seems to be able to make 130 rather easily. I just think he's pretty tall and long for that weight, that's all. Sort of how Paul Williams was.

When I first saw him against PDL, I thought he had potential but he needed work. But, since then he's looked impressive, I don't think that can be denied. And, Litzau and especially Eloy Perez are no slouches at all. And, he's ready to fight Escobedo, who he himself is a big JLW who used to be a LW. Escobedo is pretty solid as well. Not to mention, the kid is only 22 years old, he still has time to get better.

And, in terms of his footwork, I respectfully disagree about him having "bad" footwork. Eloy Perez said the same thing, and he found out the opposite. Just because you have a wide stance doesn't mean you have bad footwork, it's just your individual style. Roy Jones had a wide stance, Mayweather uses a very wide stance very often. So, that really means little to nothing.

I also disagree about him having a bad jab, I actually think he has a very good jab. He completely dominated Perez with it, who is in his own right a very slick good boxer. I have to say, I think your being way too hard on the kid, and just because he has a few a.sshole fans doesn't mean you have to tear the guy down.

I'm just excited we have a new, young, prospect with a lot of potential introduced to the sport. The kid has tremendous speed and power, his defense has improved tremendously since the PDL fight, he has great reflexes, and he hasn't even come close to reaching his peak yet at only being at the very young age of 22.

                    That's just my two cents.
