Would Mayweather have knocked Khan out?

The left he hit Hatton with was nothing like the Garcia left hook on Khan. It was a sneaky, quick counter punch that caught Hatton perfect. Garcia planted his feet and put his whole body into a wide, swinging left hook that landed pretty much perfectly.

The entire fight, when Khan jumped in, Garcia was planting his feet and throwing power shots until Khan jumped back out. That fight was a brawl. Just because he was timing Khan doesn't mean he wasn't brawling.

i usually think ur on point as a poster but the fight wasnt a brawl until the 4th round. garcia knew what he was doing. he wasnt mindlessly launching shots. if u watch any of his fights, u'll see hes very calculated in this regards

What you think? Counter left hook was what did him in, Garcia may be a bigger puncher than Floyd though but has a lot less speed.

Khan would box a lot smarter vs Floyd but I tend to think Floyd would have stopped him too.

Yes he would have in my opinion. And I'm not sure if Garcia punches harder than Floyd.

I did not need the Garcia fight to know if Mayweather would have stopped Khan or not, I as well as many on this forum was saying that BEFORE THE GARCIA FIGHT!

Khan is SLOPPY and make a ton of MISTAKES, nobody has better timing then Mayweather in boxing, he would have picked Khan Apart and stopped him LATE

When did Garcia become a huge puncher? He has some decently heavy hands and some pop but it not like he is some super fearsome puncher either.

He hurt Khan so badly because Khan left him self extraordinarily wide open thanks to throwing a lead left hook followed by a right uppercut, if Khan threw that same combo against Floyd I would question if he would even get up~

A fight can be a brawl even if they know what they are doing. I've never said Garcia didn't know what he was doing, he knew exactly what he was doing every round. Khan jumped in, the two exchanged hard punches until Khan jumped back out, that's a brawl. Marquez always knows what he is doing, but he has still been in brawls. Same with Garcia in this fight.

To be clear, I think it's obviously likely Floyd might have stopped Khan if they fought, but people are acting like he would get him out of there like Tyson in his heyday and leave Khan out cold on the mat.
