Doubt it. Possible knockdowns would occur, but Mayweather doesn't have the power to KO Khan.

Garcia IS NOT a big puncher. He has a lower KO/TKO ratio than Floyd. However he does take more chances than Floyd so its really hard to say. But if Floyd were to get one clean shot on Khans chin, which I believe he could, he would definitely stop Khan.

Yes he does. Khan is no Shane Mosley, Juan Manuel Marquez, Miguel Cotto, or Oscar De La Hoya. All those guys have great chins while Khan's chin is below average, especially for a world champion.

Yes, Khan would get his ass kicked but so many of you are acting like Floyd would knock Khan out cold in 5 rounds. That's not who he is.
when did garcia sit inside BEFORE he had khan hurt?

garcia was trying to time khan with 1 2's. he never sat inside with khan (before khan was hurt) garcia is a boxer puncher with good timing.........he doesn't fight you on the inside.

garica has less power then floyd, less speed, less accuracy.

"full body punch?" dude, mayweather throws a powerful left hook (the one he hit hatton with) & many other punches that you could consider a "full body punch"

            this must be a joke.

that's the thing, these guys are going by the way floyd beat his last few opponents & that somehow reflects on khans chin vs mayweathers power to them.

i can't believe that guys are literally comparing khans chin to marquez, mosley, cotto. they seriously have overrated khans abilities & chin into Jupiter...................

this thread is classic & hilarious

By round two I was saying to myself there is no way Khan could be fighting Mayweather like this. Mayweather would make him respect his power and timing. People blast Mayweather but he has underrated power imo. I thought he could have ko'd cotto if he wanted to in the 12th. He had him wobbled and hurt, but Floyd doesn't have that killer instinct to finish guys. He's not someone who will get careless and reckless just to get the ko.

To answer the question yes I think Mayweather could have ko'd Khan.

Would garcia have ko'ed Floyd? Cotto hasnt got a punch according to Margarito and he didnt feel cottos punches. Im sure Garcia hits a fair bit harder than Cotto does.

The left he hit Hatton with was nothing like the Garcia left hook on Khan. It was a sneaky, quick counter punch that caught Hatton perfect. Garcia planted his feet and put his whole body into a wide, swinging left hook that landed pretty much perfectly.

The entire fight, when Khan jumped in, Garcia was planting his feet and throwing power shots until Khan jumped back out. That fight was a brawl. Just because he was timing Khan doesn't mean he wasn't brawling.
