I'm not too happy with what I'm hearing about the Top Rank undercard Rigondeaux vs Marroquin and Macklin vs Alcine.

GBP's entire card will be mismatches but they will be fun to watch if you like one sided beat downs, which I do sometimes.

personally I think Arum needs to put Tyson Marquez vs Brian Viloria on the card, that's a great fight.

You think ponce vs gonzales and maidana vs sotto-krass are 1 sided? I see both being wars. Canelo vs lopez i think is going to be exciting with canelo winning(fight should not have been made regadless)
And abner mares vs ????

In addition they said 2 fights will be on showtime extreme which mean they will be decent fights as well, not the typical prospect vs 5-13 guy.

Mares isn't fighting on the card, or at least they haven't yet announced so. But I'm almost positive he won't be on the show.

I agree though, the TR undercard needs to shape up in a hurry. Great main event, but Rigondeaux as your only guaranteed slot thus far isn't exactly a thrill. Can't say I care for Matthew Macklin on the undercard either, unless it's against a MW worth a damn (which I doubt it will be).

Good war but I disagree. The guy who fights with his gloves down will get tagged up, most people don't know but Jr can land some vicious shots not only on the body, but on the head as well. Martinez thinks he has elusive moments because he fights with his hands down, he'll get tagged and get broken down.

Top Rank's undercards remind me of those old 80's WWF Saturday shows. Those shows would always have a the top level WWF stars vs a no-name wrestler.
