I can't wait for this fight...first half of the boxing year was bull*****, the second half however, is great. Already more good fights, I don't care who wins, just wanna see blood.

That's right. I keep forgetting they settled on Alcine. Kept waiting for the punchline before they revealed the real opponent. That's just a fantastic fight, really taps into the spirit of the weekend.Yeah we shall see about Mares.
Macklin is going to be fighting Alcine, I just saw on twitter that Mikeal Zewski is going to be on the card as well(he tweeted it himself)
And saw possible jesse vargas.
I donno, I bet its the Rigo mismatch, Macklin vs Alcine, zewski vs 12-15 opponent, vargas vs insert bum here. And top rank prospects vs opponents prospects face......
I got 5 tickets I really think I am going to sell and get GBP card.Comment

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA....you mean like the JCC fight in El Paso that TR said was going to sell 35,000 tickets?????More than 70% of the 18,000 seats already filled, with event handlers truly optimistic of a sold-out venue well before fight night. [Click Here To Read More]
There is ZERO chance this fight has sold 13,000 tickets, especially when none of the MGM properties are buying any.

hating ass Rican. Chavez JR. vs Lee (a no name) sold 13,000 tickets!!! More than Cotto vs. Mayorga and maybe Mayweather?
You know what's interesting? That JR is barely getting started... If he beats Mr. Martinez, I guarantee you that he will blow up like no other. So, keep hating. I know it hurts you inside.Comment

Thank you. I'll be out there and will gladly BOT this thread to show otherwise.
I doubt this show gets "papered" effectively now that I consider your post because it's NOT going to be at an MGM property. Usually they'll give guest at the MGM properties tickets to make it look filled on TV.
Arum's first mistake was putting this fight at a non MGM property but I'm sure GBP probably had MGM booked.
I still would doubt this show could sell the numbers if its the only thing going on. But now. NO way.
Again to hit high PPV numbers (400K and more) you need to get casual fans. Not some of you dissenting with my opinion boxing geeks that would probably pay for "LATIN FURY IV" lolComment

If he beats Mr. Martinez,
Thats funny right there. Because of ALL the tough, previous opposition in comparison to Sergio he's fought right?
The ONLY way he stands is chance if he comes in roided up, not submitting to his urine sample and full of diuretics that he'll need to make his bloated self make weight.
Even then he doesn't stand a chance.Comment
