I think people are a bit high on Billy Jo Saunders myself, I personally wasn't impressed by his performance vs Price. I thought he looked rather flat.

Slightly off subject but I don't buy the hype regarding Kid Gallahad either.
I think he gets laid out the moment he steps up.
Hes noway near Quigg, Munroe or Framptons level nevermind the guys higher up in that division which I consider to be pretty stacked.

Most stacked division in Boxing, IMO.

And I agree about Gallahad, but he is certainly talented. We'll have to see how he does when he steps up

Saunders beat Pryce over 12 rounds using his 1 hand, first time going 12 rounds so he was reluctant to throw.

What impressed me was his interview after the fight, very determined guy and I think he's definitely something special. However, I think we'll have to wait for him to beat a good fighter to really get excited.

I'm going to be doing a blog about our current prospects shortly, will definitely be up on the weekend.

Times are a changin' for boxing in Britain.

I don't think Lee would give a toss to be honest. And Billy Joe has plenty of time. He doesn't need this.

Barker, Macklin, McEwan & Murray . Incredibly enough they are all born within 20 weeks of each other!!! And the first three within four weeks.

Pick the names from a hat. Have both semi finals on the same bill at 10 rounds then a 12 rounder for the spoils 3 months later.

          Bob's your uncle.

p.s. I know that McEwan would be the underdog against any of them but he's nae too bad & has a lot to prove. He was on top of Lee for most of their fight till pressure/stamina caught up with him & neither of the above three punch as hard as Lee in my opinion.

He has talent I agree. Hes got some good skills, hes pretty quick, can switch-hit and hes got a good work rate.

I just think hes in the wrong division & at the wrong time & has some really bad habits.
