There seems to be too much ***** talking from both camps.
Chavez Sr, needs to shut the hell up because his son is in for the fight of his life, and he doesn't need to give Martinez any more ammo.

Martinez also needs to quiet down, because despite what everyone else thinks, Chavez Jr has improved a lot since he hooked up with Roach. Its so easy to dismiss Chavez Jr. last 3 opponents, but each one was a step up in competition and he got a decisive victory in each one. This is not the same fighter who fought Matt Vanda in 2008, he's improved, and anything can happen in a boxing match, including a 37 year old fighters getting old overnight in the ring.

In an ideal World the victor should face the winner of Geale/Sturm. Unfortunately it's not an ideal World.

Great fight for sure, better than the Canelo fight.

I am pulling for the underdog and hopes the boy wins by KO

We want Golovkin when this is done. Hell, if he wasn't fighting on the 1st, we'd fight him on the 15th of September, just as soon as Martinez gets knocked onto Jim Lampley's lap.

This is crazy. It's why I love boxing.

Chavez jr is nowhere near top 5 p4p in the world. He will however beat a top 5 guy in this fight. Styles make fights. Tough fight for a not getting any younger martinez.

I like sergio more than I like chavez so this isn't biased.

Martinez is a small middle. Chavez is huge. Martinez was talking about making 154, 155. Chavez should be at 168.

Martinez is fast as lightning and can pick you apart. In order to do so he needs an opponent who opens up ala williams and pavlik. Chavez does not open up. He covers his face leans down and allows you to pound his forehead. Martinez can hit him there a thousand times and chavez will keep coming. Chavez will only open up when he has sergio backed up tight and even then it will only be 3, 4 shots at most at any one time.

Without a big counter shot how the hell is he going to hurt that big monster? If he could lean on chavez or force him to spots in the ring martinez would win. Chavez is way too strong for that and will bully sergio and pound the hell out of that small frame.

Martinez is certainly the better fighter. Even after the loss I would rank sergio higher p4p. He's just in a bad matchup..........chavez by late stoppage round 10

2 years ago I may have punched myself in the face for a pick like that. Times change

I like this, chavez would win the biggest fight of his life and gets destroyed in his next fight by GG................

Chavez Jr will have his moments during the fight,He'll tag Sergio every now and then putting on a flashy performance

But I see Martinez breaking him down little by little in the later rounds and taking over the fight like the way he did with Macklin by working up top and to the body etc

                Sergio Via K.O

Don't agree, but there's no doubt Golovkin would be live.

if Chavez's face holds up he might be able to pull off a win. but honestly I don't think he has the defence of any of Martinez's last opponents. if he bulls in Sergio's gonna F him up. Sergio's going to tee off on his face if he thinks he can simply come foward and over power him.
