So while Chavez hasn't been that impressive, he has shown an improvement of late and this fight should be incredibly competitive. Its still a very weak Middleweight era though.
and Lee won 4 straight rounds against chavez...Zbik almost beat chavez, rubio took him the distance...Martinez has ko'd his last 4 opponents. Sergio will train like he never has before for this fight and he will push the triple punches the entire time against Chavez.

I doubt it sergio's best bet is to box this kid jr. is strong and can take a punch very well andy lee had a lot of success when he was just boxing and was winning the fight forget abou the k.o. just box no exchanges.

Martinez hurts him badly in the 10th, and in the 11th, Roach throws in the towel with Jr being pummeled but still on his feet and still trying
I agree if martinez sticks to boxing than yes he will definitely outland jr. but if he tries to get in exchanges with this boy chabez will hurt him he's too strong and takes punches very well martinez isn't a k.o. artist and I don't see him hurting chavez if sergio just box than it will be an easy win for him but if he gets in exchanges with him god help him.

OK Rox, some questions for you. Will Chavez make weight? Will he take and pass pre fight and post fight urine tests? Will team Chavez allow his gloves to be weighed? Will Chavez win on a crooked early stoppage? Will Chavez win on one of those Arum induced bad decisions? At least one (and probably two) of these things has to happen for Chavez to have a chance. While your nationalistic pride is commendable, look at the fight objectively and you will see that Martinez is vastly more talented
