Here we go again with Vitali making up excuses again. How about putting pride aside for a while and giving boxing fans the fight they want? I for one would like to see Vitali vs Haye. I will not root for either one...but there is so much bad blood between those two, that it might end up being a good fight.

I don't dislike Vitali, he's actually on my favorite heavyweights since Lewis beat him and retired. But this is the second time I've clearly seen Vitali tell lies, or make a clear contradiction.

The first time was in the build up to the Vitali vs Chisora fight. Vitali told Chisora not to make excuses after the fight.. While Vitali himself made excuses after both the Byrd and Lewis fights... AND THEN made excuses HIMSELF after the Chisora fight! lol.. Damn, talk about being a hypocrite!

People make mistakes Vitali is a nice guy, this could be all to build up a Fight with Haye I think it will happen

I understand Vitali is looking at one more fight, and then retiring, but Charr? REALLY? The same Charr who got his a.ss kicked by journeyman Zack Page and got a gift win? He may be 21-0, but he has mediocre power at best, and a horribly padded record. I mean, this fight is a complete inexcusable joke.

He needs to fight Haye, and he should. Your last fight shouldn't be against a extremely low quality fighter like Charr, but against someone who actually could pose a serious threat like Haye. Too me, a fight between Haye and Vitali is a toss up, but I'd give the edge to Haye, and that's because of Haye's speed and reflexes, and the fact Vitali has slowed down a lot, his accuracy has dropped off, he's slower and his reflexes have depleted. And, although he has a good chin, with the kind of power Haye has, IF Haye catches him flush I could see a KO happening. And, I very well do believe Haye would catch him cleanly.

Team Klitschko agreed to this fight infront of the media in Munich. If they go back on their word then they will be seen as cowards and after such a great career Vitali wont want to go out like that.

Im surprised he wants to bow out against an unknown aswel. Maybe his heart isnt in the game now but I always thought he wanted that great win that would define him. This is it. Try and do something his little brother promised to do but failed.

Its a much closer fight than Haye vs Wvlad was. Vitali is older and slower and Haye has that experience of sharing a ring with klitschko now. I still wouldnt make him a favourite though. A dangerous fight may bring out the best in Vitali and Id tip him to win on points but the question is does he want it.

Vitali should somebody with a bit of credibility before bowing out.

And that is Haye, despite the Wlad loss. I don't know how people thought Haye was going to fight in that one. He's a counter-puncher and an outside fighter. He is at a horrific style disadvantage vs a Klit or any other massive super-heavyweight with good athleticism and decent skills, even a fairly moderate huge man like Valuev. He might be quick enough to nail Vitali though with the Big Vit's jab not really a patch on his brothers.
