Wlad has very little skill at fighting a tall fighter - those two fights with Thompson showed me all I needed to see. He looked like a fool throwing those slow ass punches (he's so used to punching DOWN) and trying to jump on Tony's head, like he does every other fighter because they are short...plus he got iced by Ross Purrity (who is tall if I remember correctly)? Lennox in 5.
Lewis vs wlad prime vs prime

yeah around that period, as you say though i will hand wlad one thing, consistancy.
Even in his prime lewis was liable to have a lazy day, but i'd pick at the period between 95-2000 as his best, beggining with the Morrison performance, ending around the time he fought Grant

You can not base it off ''Wlad couldn't take the shots Vitali took''
He probably couldn't and besides that is ****** logic.
Vitali is the better fighter but not the better boxer. He is pretty slow, dopey & pretty uncoordinated.
When has Wladimir ever been hit with an uppercut from anybody? I can't think of a time.
This fight wouldn't have anything to do with whose got the better inside game & what makes you think Wlad won't tie him up? Lewis rarely fought inside himself, he clinched a lot himself and had the same trainer.
They're both olympic gold medalists and boxers.
Wladimir don't like fighting tall opposition? Hes never lost to a taller opponent or had much trouble with height at all. The only time he has was against Sanders who when motivated was a killer.
Williamson, Jefferson, Thompson, Nicholson, McCline were all well over 6ft4
Why is it the Klitschkos always lose fantasy fights usually based on ******ed logic or because of their losses when most of the fantasy opponents have equally as embarrassing losses and probably less tools in their arsenal?
Head-to-head I think Lewis is about the only heavyweight with a chance against a prime Wladimir.
Infact usually there is nothing to go by its just because for some unknown reason many dislike the brothers, the same idiots who'll be crying for decades to come once they're retired.Comment

Dan you must wonder why you are in such the minority, I admire that you stand by your fighters, but surely you have to wonder if your wrong or everyone else is?
The only guy's picking wlad are basically hardcore klitschko fans, most of the votes for Lewis are from unbiased posters, coincidence?Comment

Lewis fought his fair share of fat midgets & cruiserweights himself.
I don't think the heavyweight division has been that bad, Wladimir already beat Rahman & Mercer and he would of crushed Golota, Tua, Morrison & Briggs (and a shot to **** Tyson) I don't think those guys are really any better than the likes of Chagaev, Brewster, Peter, Brock, Haye, Thompson, Chambers, Ibragimov.Comment

I don't mind being in a small minority, I was for Abril vs Rios.
I'm not saying Wladimir wins 100% just saying I think he'd have a legit shot and the pole is a bit too one sided IMO
I mean if you looked at that pole you'd think Wladimir had no chance what so ever, not even a punchers chance.
If they fought 10 times I wouldn't be surprised if they was split 5 each.
I have to go with the more consistent fighter though I personally don't think a lot separates them at all.Comment

Thompson has a style that makes and would make a lot of guys look bad.
He dominated him & knocked him out twice, what more could you ask for?
Ross Purrity was a very hard hitting journeyman who scored a few upsets actually. He beat Gonzalez he got a draw against Tommy Morrison who he dropped twice and was arguably robbed against. He fought the best the 90s had to offer, often came up short but nobody got past him easily.
Prime Rahman, Grant, Donald, Johnson, Nielson, Sanders, a lot of Lewis good wins & top opposition went life & death with Purrity who WAS better than his record suggests & gave nobody an easy time.
Besides this is about a prime Wlad vs a prime Lewis not the green 20 fight novice who got railed by Purrity or the Lewis who got caught cold against Oliver McCall.Comment
