There's a reason why I don't listen to post fight comments from fighters. It's ALWAYS an exercise in saving face.

BTW, don't you love it when these morons claim that Vitali beat the better version of Briggs? :rofl9:

It's too bad the Sky broadcast didn't have the audio quality of HBO. The HBO broadcast you can REALLY hear that bomb go off.

This part of your quote pretty much sums up all klitschko opponents though "survival mode"

Klitschko fans make out it's because the Klits are just monsters that everyone is terrified of.

I think it's because in the 90's there were young, HUNGRY contenders, who backed themselves and wanted to be "the man"

nowadays we have lacklustre talents that want a payday and know how limited they are. They have no hunger, no confidence, because they know they suck.

If Lewis allows Wlad to dictate the fight it would be a good strategic battle. I don't see that happening though. Lennox was never afraid to mix it up if he had to and I think he'd be pressuring Wlad from the first bell. Wlad doesn't like being backed up or when someone else controls the fight. I think Lennox stops him in 4. Jmo.

More to the point, none of these dudes have any clue about how to fight when they're at a disadvantage in reach (except for Chisora and he doesn't have the offensive firepower to pull it off). That's the key to the Klits success: They have a big reach advantage over everyone they face and none of those opponents have any clue about fighting inside.

Here's the thing, though: Against Lennox it's the KLITS that would be fighting at a reach disadvantage. Their primary advantage over opponents and the key to their success disappears. A fighter who out-ranges them is their worst nightmare, rivaled only by an opponent who knows how to fight on the inside.

That's one of my favorite Klit fans statements.

usually it's something like "Briggs was 35lbs more of solid muscle against vitali!!!!"

Wladimir is way too one-dimensional for Lewis. As soon as he feels Lewis' power, he'll get cautious, go on the defensive and stop fighting back. I think Lewis KOs him within 9 rounds max. Lewis would badly expose Wladimirs limited style, he doesn't have half the skills of a prime Lewis.
