You see its the other ay around...Rigo is still a wet behind the ear pro. That just turn pro. Donaire as been here. Moving up means there is nothing worth fighting left...what some 10 fight up comer? hehehehe lol....
Rigo can pro himself...and will have the chance to do so. Like everyone else. Then there will be no excuse.
For the belts, DUH! If a man keeps calling you out OVER & OVER again, are you going to keep ignoring him? If you're any type of man that have some kind of self-respect, you won't let that go. You can't....well maybe you would by making excuses. They are BOTH beltholders! Don't say you want to be undisputed when you're not willing to fight ALL the other 3 (NOT 2) beltholders to do such. SMDH @ this *****.......

I'm not a fan of Arum & Co., but they haven't done badly by Rigo. Guillermo is an assassin with ten pro fights, in a division where one of the company's stars has decided to campaign. Under the circumstances, I can't see Rigondeaux doing much better. Look at Lara under Golden Boy. He's not getting the fights he deserves, much less a date with the resident star: "Canelo" Alvarez. What is Rigo to do? There's a short list of big promoters.

It's the SAME S**T with Lara too.

After Rigondeaux beat Ramos, who was in the Top 10 at 122, Arum has matched him with Kennedy and Marroquin. Had he matched Rigondeaux with other Top 10 guys at 122 like Molitor, Shimoda, or Ndlovu, the pressure would be much greater on Arum to make Donaire-Rigo, much more than it is right now.

TR has no intention on ever making Donaire-Rigondeaux because Donaire is their next big thing once Manny is gone, or at least that's what they hope. And GBP will never make Alvarez-Lara because Alvarez is already becoming their next big thing.

But he's pretty much s**T out of luck if he went to GBO too, because though I doubt Abner Mares would be afraid to fight anyone, I HIGHLY DOUBT Golden Boy would ever make Mares-Rigo because Mares could become a big star for Golden Boy in the near future.

So, again I ask: What is Rigo to do? He's between a rock and a hard place. Guillermo probably ought to stay put. The least he can do is make his contract short.

But I disagree it's the chin only that doomed Barthelemy, he's lost UDs to "bums" (that's what you'd call em, I'm sure).
rigo didnt went down , he was off balance , wiyh his right foot on the air when he got a soft jab and touch the canvas with the rigth glove. go to you tube and watch. im saying bartelemi has no chin. rigo beats donaire, you know that. franco beats him too. gamboa beats him too. and rigo is the best of them all.
rigo boxed cordova from the 6 to the end , the way he alwats did in the amateur. thats the way he won most of the time.hitting and not getting hit back.it was only his 7 pro fight, first 12 rounds , against a goog one , taller and experienced who dint come to fight. if you remember , watch how cordova would not trow punches , was fighting a defensive fight. rigo beat him, and beats donaire easily, as donaire is wide open without defense. just watch and see.

Im not talking about Cab...Im talking about Nonito, and his bumazz went to hell and back with Madupla
