    1. They are boring, sorry. Sure they are both good fighters but seriously why am I going to pay $65 to be bored ****less?

    2. No one knows who these guys are, it's that simple. Ward hasn't even fought on PPV and only about 20 million people even have Showtime. How many of these even watched the Ward fights which... WERE BORING. He made mabe 200,00 fans if that and maybe 10% will buy this fight.

    3. PPV should be for fights that will make HBO money, losing money will not help them in anyway. Sure, having it on HBO will not make them money but it brings people more exposure whom both these guys need, ESPECIALLY Ward. Dawson is boring to hell to watch which does not help this in anyway shape or form.

    4. They've had 2 days for fights on regular HBO why not have a single 24/7 or countdown show for a free show? Again if it works out well you'll make money in the long run putting them on PPV too early is a mistake IMO. It will FLOP and by that I mean less than 200k buys. Dumb move by HBO... Chavez/Martinez is PPV worthy because at least one guy will draw in a crowd and it will be a good fight. This... hopefully it's in Oakland if not we're looking at Bradley/Alexander attendance and horrible PPV buys.
It's not going to be on PPV. It's just getting the treatment as though it were. It's on HBO Championship Boxing.

It's not on PPV, it's just getting PPV treatment.
