Comments Thread For: Bailey: No Contract, Team Alexander F***ing Around

BoxingScene.com recently spoke to Randall Bailey who said that he has returned to the gym and has began working out lightly in preparation for his September 8th fight against Devon Alexander. The newly crowned IBF champion did however say that he is skeptical that the fight actually takes place.

Wonder if he'd still get robbed now that Devon doesn't have Don King pulling the strings behind the scene?

Either way, no reason for Bailey to go to St. Louis. Make it a neutral battle ground and get to it.

Lets be honest here only way Bailey is gonna win is by knockout. They guy hardly throws a punch, so he won't win on activity.

Should be but I think Hearns has stated they're taking one other fight first.

If Bailey lands a similar amount of shots that Jones did, Brook's going to sleep.

I'd fancy Brooks chances in this though, assuming he actually learns from that Jones fight and makes the right changes/adjustments.

Bailey can't draw 500 people to come see him fight in his hometown. So who's going to fly to Vegas for his fights ? NOBODY!!!!!

                Bailey KO'd Mike Jones.
He has earned a decent fight, not the disrespect displayed on this site.

Brook has wasted enough time in his career I don't see him making changing by having one more fight (against saldivia) before a fight for the title. And right now I'm sure Hearn would rather have brook fight Bailey for the title then Devon.

                    i dont think

Alexander even earned a shot for the title to be honest. Do i think its a good fight? yeah, but Devon has only fought 1 time at WW and it was vs a blown up jr WW in Chino. Whatever the case, here's hoping for a KO for the OG over Devon. Still havent seen anything special from him to be considered "The Great"
