Well, if Donaire agreed to fight Rigo, then on this board, the haters will say his avoiding Arce, Mares, and Nishioka.

If Donaire beat Rigo, then they would say, Rigo has only 10 fights before they fought. The amateur experience then well be belittled cuz they will say this is pro boxing.

Out of the 4 possible opponents for Donaire, Rigo is the most skilled. But it doesn't mean that's a guarantee win for him against Nonito.

Do you really think that Donaire will fight the same way that he fought against Vasquez Jr. and Mathebula? No. He didn't fight that way against Darchinyan or Montiel.

His past 2 fights, Donaire was trying to hard to entertain the crowd, give a show. Maybe the pressure of being the "next Pac" is getting to him. If he just concentrate on beating the opponent instead of trying hard to please the crowd, then last night's fight could have reflected what the actual score is. FYI, i had Donaire winning
          7-8 rounds.

Really funny how Donaire is supposed to fight everyone but people aren't demanding these guys fight each other. So what disability is keeping Rigo, Nishioka, Mares, Moreno from fighting each other?????!!!!!!!!!!

Nishioka is currently the WBC Emeritus Champion. If he we3re to fight Donaire or anyone else and lose, what title would the winner get? Just curious.

Nishioka only wants to fight Donaire or he retires.

Mares and Rigo have different promoters.

                Moreno is a bantamweight

Tell that to the biased fans who think Donaire has to fight everyone but none of them have to fight each other. Today on boxingscene Nishioka said he would fight Mares. Rigo could also fight Nishioka.

I posted this same thing in another thread and will post it again here.

Nonito is looking after his career, shouldn't anyone else? Going upstairs is the way to go. Fighting everybody at 122, though noble in the eyes of hardcore fans, is not to Nonito's interest career wise. He is already 29 yrs old and doesn't have much time left.

After one more significant fight at 122, he should immediately seek greener pasture at higher weights.

The paydays and big dollars are in higher weights.

Imagine the fascination and lure to boxing that will be created if he proves he can mix it up with the regular stars at LW and JWW. This will be good for boxing.
