Rigo and Mares can fight, the winner can take on the Donaire and Nishioka winner. Easy solution really, nothing to get stressed over.

This is true, but we know the TR/GB rivalry will prevent this fight from happening anytime soon. I don't even think Mares has said anything about fighting Rigo anyway.

Yea yea yea, you either wait for one of the two to get stripped, have Rigo unify with Mares and have one become the super champ and challenge the regular belt or you actually take one of them on.... that being the weakest of the two.

100% Rigo will eat an easy snack vs No No No nito.
Nononito, NO power, NO right hand, Hands go down after punches, Foot work is basic. Puaf pxp!
Rigo and Mares know 100% this guy is an easy payday.

A Mares-Rigo fight isn't realistic with the GB/TR differences. The Rigo fight is very easy to make as both are under TR. No reason that fight shouldn't happen before Donaire leaves 122.

Donaire's face will NOT hold up at 126, just look what the 122 lb. division has done to his face already and he hasnt even faced the top dogs of the divison yet. Mathebula was at best ranked 5 or 6 of the division

How many South African fans do you suppose turned out to support Mathebula? How many hardcore fans? My guess is that Jeff probably had a few of his friends and family in attendance. That's it. I understand and accept that it's preferable to fight guys with a heavy fan-base, but that particular notion has gotten out of hand around here.

So if (or when) Nonito steps up to 126 without facing Rigo, I'd love to know what his excuse will be. It better be good, because he's running out of them....
