Maybe you've been arguing too long with Klitschsko haters because true boxing fans don't overrate fighters like Ike.

Anyway, what does your 6ft tall response have to do with anything when Vitali was stopped by Byrd, a man Ike kod inside 5 rounds? Are Byrd, Brewster, Sanders, and Purrity that much taller than Ike? Ike has beaten guys taller than himself so if anything say Ike never faced or beat a tall, talented heavy like either K brother.

And for the record, both K brothers were stopped by men inches smaller than themselves.

You thought Tua beat Ike? Ike clearly won that fight, and his jab was the reason why he won convincingly. Thompson, Ibragimov, Chagaev, lmao or McCline didn't have the style to beat Ike. The K brothers did, but Ike had enough talent to beat both K brothers. Would he have? We will never know.

His KO of Byrd was almost terrifying in it's brutality as he just winged a shot.. waited for Byrd to stand still... pinpointed exactly where Byrd would be & just threw a bomb & had Byrd DROOLING all over the place...

No one had ever done that to Byrd & No one had ever exchanged 36 minutes of toe to toe bombs vs Tua & Lived to tell about it... Those are His 2 Best wins.... hardly a resume when he never faced an alltime great but he showed his versatility by taking care of one of the hardest punchers in heavyweight history & one of the lightest ones as well... mucho loco but without Tyson's stamina for staying out of prison.

Rahman was doing a damn good job at it until Tua cheated and hit him after the bell in the first fight. A fight that should've been ruled a NC.

I watched the fight. I had Tua up and Ike did not box from the outside. The commentators also had Tua up. I'm not favoring those guys over Ike. I'm just saying one of them would probably outbox him for the upset. McCline was a decent contender if you can remember that.

When I first saw him was on an interview. He had a squeaky voice and claiming that his name was the President and he was going to show the world who was he. I rolled my eyes and thought he comes another victim for Tua.

Boy was I sold that night when he fought Tua, and yes the President has arrived. He had everything to make him a star but his metal problems were too much to control by his handlers. A real waste of talent of such a skilled and entertaining fighter.

The K bros would had a lot of trouble with him cause he had a good chin, stamina, a jab and was a good body puncher.

You don't think people claiming he would have been champion had he not had a screw loose is overrating? The guy had 20 fights. And using what Byrd, Sanders or what anyone else did doesn't translate to what Ike would do. And Boxrec only has him fighting 2 guys above 6'2" so I think that validates my point he never fought a good, tall heavyweight. Again, Im not saying he couldn't, only that he never did. To just assume he would automatically do so is in my opinion overrating him.

I like the fact he went to the body. To few up and coming heavyweights ignore that very important facet of the sport.
