History???W/whom? even Lara , & it won't b him, isn't history. Alvarez wouldn't be in the top 50 of all time...My guess, it would b no 1 difficukt, is Quintana or mayb Trout...

The Racket Squad: 'History' Is Not The Word It Used To Be

Unless Duran or Leonard are making comeback's or if Johnny Tapia moves up in weight from the dead, the only history to be made here are the record number of lousy PPV buys that shall be inherited due to basic greed

Chavez/ Martinez is a great contest and regardless of who they place the inexperienced and still learning Alvarez in with it will still be a million buck exhibition.
Saul has been gliding with 'on the job training' opponents' for way too long.

De La Hoya and GBP really need to give it up. they lost move the date, let Chavez and Martinez fight it out.

de la Hoya keeps trying to push this fight but almost everybody wants them to move it. yeah I know GBP is just pulling a **** move by staging this farce. they did the same when Cotto fought Margarito again. GBP had Mares vs Agbeko on the same night.

people want to blame Arum for everything and he usually deserves it but GBP trying to upstage any big that isn't Golden Boy really needs to end.

let Canelo fight Kirkland in October when he's 100%, no excuses no BS. Hoya needs to lay off the women's lingerie and coke and do what's best for boxing

For it to be history so to speak, it has to be Alvarez vs Cotto at MSG. Maybe it's X number of title fights in the Mexico vs Puerto Rico rivalry. Can't see how history is made unless it is a unification with Trout. I hope it isn't the mediocre Bundradge or the shopworn Quintana. If it's Lara or Vanes Martiroysan that would work. They were also talking Frietas who looked spectacular at 154 recently or Carlos Molina.
