Hes going to have a unification fight on CBS. If that is it then we have a 21 year old star trying to claim another title on regular TV. Not to shabby and im in.

I don't like promoting/marketing other boxing websites on boxingscene but here it is:

            Mayorga is a big possibility.

If they talking about Mayorga they might as well just make a fight with K9 for a unification bout then if they want to line up a no-hoper

But then they'd have to share with the IBF right?
                WBC don't roll that way

In a historic copromotion with universal pictures and scheduled to coincide with the release of "weekend at Bernie's 3" the skeletal remains of the great Sugar Robinson will be brought in to face (at a catch weight) Canelo Alvarez....the original co-stars of "weekend at Bernie's 1" will be brought in to maneuver the Robinson cadaver in a truelly historic night of championship boxing

If GBP really wanted to one-up Top Rank they'd make the fight free on NBC or CBS whatever network they signed a deal with, assuming it's still on the same date as Chavez-Martinez.

People will tune in for the free fight... Martinez-Chavez PPV takes a huge hit.
