Is Tito Trinidad mentally weak or easily discouraged?

i don't think tito is either you do not become a 3 div. champ and be the longest raining champ ever at welter and be weak minded ...also tito was knocked down many times in his career and always got back up that is not the mark of someone who is easily discouraged.......tito was dominated by hops and winky but i think he was more frustrated than anything especially when you are not getting anytype of advice from your corner but even then he cameout for every rnd. he could of just quit on his stool like many before him have ....

Kids get frustrated, not stable adults.

Frustration = mentally weak, IMO. Papa Trinidad knew this and straight lied to him during the rounds.

Same thing with Sugar Shane and his father. We could see Sugar Shane quit already mentally against Winky.

I think Trinidad was just lazy, and mentally didnt give a ****. Trinidad came back for the fans, not to be the greatest, he was just not cometed to boxing.

agaisnt vargas he was SMART.. he punched low so he would get time to recover! i have respect for fighters who will do anything to win a fight!

and about that low blow ****.... that sumtimes helps both of the fighters cause u dont kno they make it look bad but then again they are recovering so in a way its good for both but yet looks bad for the boxer that did the low blow.... so in a way tito fought smart not dirty (well a lil bit lol)

Hopkins beat Trinidad before he fought him. He burned the Puerto Rican Flag!!!!! Trinidad went in to kill him and did not box at all. He beat Vargas because he was better not because of the low blows. Just because he was knocked down by Vargas means nothing, Tito has been knocked down so many times. Tito against Winky was just a bad combination of fighting styles. When Tito was younger and lighter he was very active and threw punches in bunches, but as an older heavier fighter he became slower and threw less punches. Tito should have never fought as a middleweight maybe 154 but not 160. Same goes for DLH. He was a boxer-puncher as a welter but became a knock out king and stuck with that.

So do I think he is weak minded, no. I think he lost skills that are pertinent in the ring with fighters that you cannot beat by just overpowering them. He was too confident in the winky fight and when he was met with a challenge, he had no other game plan.
