I agree, but he DID have power at that weight. HE KNOCKED OUT MAYORGA, enough said.

It always amazes me how people want to make grand judgments of a fighter based on one fight. When Tito didn't beat Wright, it was said that he didn't have 160 punching power. IN a fight where he didn't get to land one clean power shot, how cna it be proved that he didn't have middleweight pop?
Eres Boricua, verdad?
Lateral movement had nothing to do with Tito's losses. Him taking punches and Hopkins being able to defend himself proved the problem.

Tito knocked out Mayorga... Mayorga has a granite chin. He was a good puncher at that weight.
I never stated he didnt have punch, that is evident since he knocked out Cherifi, Joppy(who had never been knocked out), and Mayorga. I just feel that he was much slower at 160. As a welter he was powerful and had hand speed, but at 160 he had significantly less hand speed but still had power.

Tito didn't have to fight Winky? Yeah... he didnt have to fight him but the thing is he did and he lost. Who else would he have fought?

Lateral movement had everything to do with his loss to Hopkins. How much do you know about boxing? If Tito implemented lateral movement he could have broken Hopkins D and avoided many punches. Hopkins stated it, "He doesn't know how to move laterally, he just stands in front of you". This is something that he did better as a welterweight but didn't do as at 160.
