I know pidgin Spanish... barely enough to get by. But one thing I did know was that you were making pitiful excuses for an exposed fighter in Tito.

The point is that Tito is one of the most memorable and one of the best fighter to ever enter the ring.

And just for future reference stick to reading spanish not writing it,....please. Thank you. The latin community appreciates it.

I dont think its either..He just needed a better trainer some fighter need that guidence in there corner and Tito is one of them that why he seemed so discoraged and confused in the ring againts Hopkins and Winky, but he has the heart becuase he kept coming at them. Im telling you if Tito had a 1/2 way decent trainer he would still be fighting and dominating.

                  Here are my points...

Against Hopkins, his father had to lie to him and tell him he was winning to keep him from being discouraged

Even Tito fans will say "something was wrong with him that night"

Lost fight to Hopkins, then retired.

Low blowed Vargas when Vargas was gaining momentum in fight --> desperate/lack of confidence in winning so he cheated

Saw that it was hard to hit Winky, I wouldn't say he gave up, but he realized this and pretty much ate jabs the whole night, not being the vicious fighter he normally is

                  Retired after fight to Winky
Boxing is very simple. When your young and climbing the ranks your motivated. Motivated by the sport, fame, money and all the chicks that want to kiss your peckel. Then you become 'Champ' and its a whole new ball game. After a couple of defenses you start thinking your better than you really are, start cutting corners and some hungry kid comes along and "WHOMPS" your ass..
After you have been the man, its a huge let down.

i don't think tito is either you do not become a 3 div. champ and be the longest raining champ ever at welter and be weak minded ...also tito was knocked down many times in his career and always got back up that is not the mark of someone who is easily discouraged.......tito was dominated by hops and winky but i think he was more frustrated than anything especially when you are not getting anytype of advice from your corner but even then he cameout for every rnd. he could of just quit on his stool like many before him have ....

I voted for Tito being easily discouraged. Not saying he doesnt have heart, and not saying he wasnt a great fighter. Why did I choose that vote? Because he retired every time he lost, even though it was only twice.

I can't believe Idontwatchboxing isnt in here yet, swinging for the fences.
