Jr. is underrated in my opinion - people don't give him enough credit even though he took a long time to step up his game. I can't blame him - he had no amateur pedigree whatsoever and Sr. fought tomato cans for much of his first 40 fights.
the lackey opponents he's faced. jeez so he beat second tier andy lee. so what. brian vera beat andy lee for criss sakes.
i believe IF chavez realy does get in the ring with sergio youre going to see that jr.is so outclassed that you won't believe how you could of thought that joke jr. even had a change.

JCCjr hasnt done anything to impress me. I havent seen it. Flought an azz of under C class fighters...thats about it. Not knocking his talent or skill...havent seen the next level of that yet.
Sergio on the other hand...Pavlik,Williams,and Dzinziruk little bit more impressive than.....I cannot think of ONE that JCCjr fought that is in any way impressive...
Sergio has built up a large confidence wall. Its gonna be hard for JCCjr to over come that wall.

You can't pick any of that for Chavez as there is no blueprint on how to beat him. Do you know why that is?
It's because 46 have tried and 46 have failed.

come on think about it. you work hard and come up the hard way like Martinez and have all that work taken away so a legend's son can have YOUR title.
Martinez has some real animosity towards Chavez. Chavez talks smack on twitter and Martinez responds.
it's great because it makes the fight more interesting.
I'm a huge Martinez fan but Chavez might take him. I don't think Chavez weight will be a huge issue because Pavlik was 178 on the night of the fight against Martinez. it's a good fight and I like seeing two guys who don't like each other go at it.
