What he says is an accurate statement, but that doesn't mean it's a duck.

His "0" is what got him the Pacquiao fight, he would be a ****** to completely rule out the possibility of losing to Khan... However when the plan is to get a mega fight with Pacquiao, who is a better, more dangerous fighter, for 5x more the publicity and 5x more the money.

It's not a duck out of fear, it's a smart business move, that anyone in the business would make.

Khan will always be there to fight, but if he loses, Pacquiao will not be. Common sense ****.

I don't care what dis-info is put out there... the way it went down tells you the communication that took place behind closed doors.
      That's just your own speculation.

The facts is Top Rank openly stated that Miguel Cotto was the first choice for June 9th. Cotto himself also claims he was contacted by Pacquaio's team but they couldn't agree to the weight.

Another fact is Tim Bradley himself stated that he was shocked when he got the fight.

And the final fact is simply "The deal was to fight Casamayor and then fight Pacquaio" is simply false. That wasn't the deal. There is nothing to show that was the deal and events later confirm that it wasn't the deal.

So saying he didn't fight Khan and fought Pacquaio instead of Khan is not true.

He didn't fight Khan because he instead went in pursuit of a Pacquaio fight. And, Khan being the obvious risk he is, he didn't want to risk losing to Khan when a Pacquaio fight was on his radar and he was near the top of Arum's list for Pacquaio. This is another thing he said openly that was highlighted by another poster, that is he lost he'd be out the "sweep stakes". And that's another thing Top Rank were open about, that Bradley was on the list, and he knew that.

I understand his line of thinking but not fighting someone who's the #2 in your division and a fight that everyone in the Boxing world wants to see because you're worried you may lose and in effect ruin your chance for a fight you're not even guaranteed is ducking in my eyes.

You just need to watch the first round of this one to see why Bradley ducked Bailey. He feared he'd get knocked out pretty quick against Bailey and totally outboxed by Khan.

I think Bradley made a good decision not to fight Khan. As I remember if he had taken the Khan fight he would have had to stay with his old promoter for a longer time. He was trying to leave the guy. So he turned down all fights and let his contract run out so he could sign with Top Rank. It obviously paided off big time. I don't think he fears Khan. He said he would fight Khan if the Pacquiao rematch falls through and I believe him. If he doesn't fight Khan it will be because of the Golden Boy Top Rank feud.

As much as I wanted/still want to see a Bradley/Khan fight, Bradley made a smart decision. When Bradley said 'If I lose, I'm out of the Pacquiao sweepstakes', he basically meant '**** happens, and I can't take that risk RIGHT NOW if I want to ensure that I get that big $$$ fight with Pac.' BTW, Bradley never said Khan was gonna be an easy fight. And guess what??? Khan is still there for him to fight. Who cares why Bradley fought Casamayor, really? I believe he was guaranteed a million plus (by HBO?) for the next fight after Alexander anyway. He was a stay busy fight after not having fought in 9+ months, just like Khan supposedly took McCloskey to stay busy. I swear, some people hate Bradley more than they love Khan.

This past weekends fight is a perfect example of '**** happens'. Ortiz was SUPPOSED to be in a big money fight in September after fighting and beating Lopez last Saturday night. **** happened, Oritz LOST... and now he is no longer in the Alvarez 'sweepstakes'.

Btw for the record, I am under the belief that Bradley did duck Khan. However I don't see the Bailey duck. Just because ts said so, I see no link or no proof. He didn't quote that he simply typed it.
