But I do agree that Ortiz quit.
Duran quit once, in a 119 fight career that was loaded with title runs at Lightweight, Light Middleweight, and Middleweight, and he's widely regarded as the greatest Lightweight that ever lived.....I think I can forgive him for saying "no mas" once.

Seriously Tyson will have more respect for his mentality than Ortiz in a decade.
I understand that line of reasoning as well, and agree in some regards. I don't like the mentality that you can't criticize something if you can't do it better yourself. Well, I'm not a professional athlete who's earning his living in the sport. I do my job right, so he should do his right as well. Same goes for say criticizing a basketball player and people saying "Let's see you take that shot and then talk." I'm not a paid basketball player, I know I can't make that shot, but he is supposed to.

Now that would be a great fight, only fight that Canelo has left, because there's nobody else. Cotto would have the edge because he knows what it would take to win a serious war, Canelo really hasn't experienced that yet, but cotto would bring out the best in him if Canelo really is made of all heart, that is something we would have to see.

man I hate that. I hate cuts broken jaws and head butts.

I hate it for Ortiz and to see him hang his head on his knees

I don't know if he will recover mentally, its up to him

smh @ Vic....his suspect heart failed him again!!!...props to Lopez...he did his thing and showed mad heart...seemed like he wanted out after he got hit with the rabbit punch....but I guess he was just stunned or whatever....again, props to him and his team

back to Vic...smh...where does he go from here?...he's definitely the "drama queen" of the sport and his style will always make for plenty of action and drama in the ring....he squares up way too much imo...there's some fights out there for him...I don't think he's done...I think he needs to go entertain Teddy and them on ESPN and have a few fights on FNF

broken jaws was NEVER a reason to stop the fight...Vic quit again....can't sugarcoat it!!....some where in Oxnard, Bam Bam Rios is having a big LOL...somebody need to put Vic on suicide watch ...you never know!!

Broken jaws im sure can be different but i had mine broken in the first punch of a real fight b4. I never even knew it till waaay later.

Finishing the rd was probably the easy part.
Thats the thing mah Buhnlaw. You can be a fighter, but to be ELITE, you must be a Warrior IMHO. Hell normal everyday people, are often times Warriors. A Boxer being paid hundreds of thousands to millions of dollars should be held to the same standard and expected to exceed that standard by miles.

Dude, you must've never seen a broken jaw before, it is very appearent that his jaw is broken. There is absolutely NO doubt about it. When you see that much vascular blood being spat out with no visible cut on the cheek, it is a safe assumption that his jaw is broken.
