Matthysse is an absolute beast. A more technical version of Maidana who punches HARD. Punches hard with both hands, to the head and body.

I have been saying for very long this is the guy Khan should avoid and the guy who would put Khan to sleep.

Mattysse is the best fighter @ 140 lbs and most dangerous. A great fighter and hopefully he gets more fights.

He's always been in the mix, look at his fights with Alexander and Judah. If he applies the pressure like he did tonight, he beats anyone at 140.

R1 was an indicator that Matthyse would get boxed by Khan.

Matthyse has power but he missed a lot, and Soto was in range for most of them.

Khan since Peterson has worked on strength and is way too fast and gets out of range a lot.

Khan slows own in the 6th and mabe Matthyse has a chance then, but he certainly can get outboxed.

Oh and they said Maidana needed one shot, Khan didn't even drop.

Everyone laughed before, I still hold onto my prediction that Matthysse is the best 140lb fighter on the planet today and Khan will go to 147 and avoid at all costs.
