I'm pretty sure that fight will happen in May next year.

I think Cotto-Chavez will happen in October. The Sergio fight isn't happening, they're just blowing smoke about that. It's a big money fight against a Top MW, and a chance to win a title in a 4th weight class, which would really enhance Cotto's legacy. Than, win or lose, he could still move back to 154 to fight Alvarez in a big fight.

Just because Chavez Jr is big doesnt mean he is the favorite and Cotto has the drawing power to bring Chavez down to a 156-157 catchweight. Cotto is faster than Chavez, better defence, better technique, better boxing skills and Chavez is not a pressure fighter in the mold of a Margarito is not like he will be all over Cotto for 3 minutes of each round and he sure as hell won't be able to take all the bombs Cotto will land if he fights that way.

Cotto-Chavez if it hapens will take place in December. Cotto already said he will come back in December and this week he made a trip to New York to see the new things they been doing at MSG. So he will comeback at MSG if he fights this year.

You're insane if you think Chavez would agree to a 156-157 CW. Why should he??? Why would you want Cotto to fight him at a CW??? As a Cotto fan, you'd think you would want to see Cotto win a title at 160 instead of a CW.

Cotto would come into the ring probably around 160-165. Chavez would come in around 180. He's far bigger than Cotto. It would be a tough task for Cotto to win.

Cotto vs. Chavez at MSG would be huge. Arum might prefer Cowboys stadium though.

Cotto beats Pacman at a healthy weight. I consider that as close to obvious by now. Lets look at some facts.

                1. Being forced to weight 145 & no more is not the same as weighting in at 146 (of your own accord).

                2. Pacman has looked like $h!t for 3 fights in a row while Cotto looked good in 4.

                3. Pacman chose Cotto in 2012 but no higher than a mannyweight of 148. Now we can all sit here & play dumb, but the is an obvious reason why.

                4. Cotto's trainer is damn fine right now & the world knows that you can't trade with Pacman. If Mosley's shot a$$ can have relative success unable to pull the trigger, I think it's safe to assume Cotto can.

This is why I feel Cotto can beat him right now at 150+.

I thought Pac looked good against Bradley. He's past his prime-still good, same as he has been since 2010. He looked bad with Msoley because Mosley just ran and didn't do anything, and Marquez exposed the people saying Pac is "new and improved" since their 2nd fight. He looked good against Bradley, and though I think Pac should have won the clear UD, it wasn't the total 12-0/11-1 domination some are making it out to be.

I don't think Pacman looked good against Bradley at all. He only fought in spurts, hid in the championship rounds & Bradley was crippled for heavens sake.

The only thing he failed in his performance to me was closing he fight, which is why I laughed when someone asked "Pac-Bradley, Mayweather-Hatton, who had the better performance????". Floyd closed the show, and stopped Hatton. Pac did let Bradley back into the fight after the first 8 rounds, and Bradley took rounds 10 and 12, and rounds 9 and 11 were close. Pac still should have a comfortable UD, he just didn't close the fight they way he should have.
