but that is because none of these young fighter are stepping up and showing they are worthy of being matched up with Cotto, Mayweather or Pacquiao

    Boxing Needs a Tournament at 140, 147 and 154
The problem is the young fighters, instead of fighting each other are preserving their records in hopes of landing a fight with the Big 3 in terms of $ (Mayweather, Cotto, Pacquiao)

And it's not just young fighters, it's veteran belt holders too. K9 for some reason thinks he's earned a big $ fight with Cotto and seems to be ducking Lara.

those fighters should not be the ones rewarded Big Paydays and fans need to stop claiming that people are ducking this or that fighter when those Top Fighters do reject certain fighters who haven't don't anything in the sport of boxing to be worthy of a huge Pay Day! That is what a Tournament is for, while the 168 Tournament did not go smoothly, it gave the fans pretty much the idea of who is the Top Fighters in the Division and it boosted Froch and Ward careers if anything, they are known a lot more now then they was before the Tournament Started that is for sure

Yeah a 154 tournament would be nasty.

          Canelo
          Ortiz
          Lara
          Trout
          Molina
          Kirkland
          Vanes bi*ch ass
          K9
          Rosado

The Chavez fight at a catchweight of 156 for a 4th world tittle is interesting but only at a catchweight. Both the bMayweather and Pacquiao fights are fights that would sell over 1.2 million each so they will happen again considering the lack of opponents for those two.

Wouldn't mind seeing Chavez-Cotto. I'm sure the WBC would Chavez hold on to that title for a Cotto fight, sadly.

It'd be a good fight, but I think Chavez would be too damn big. It'd be like Cotto-Margarito I only worse.

I don't want to see Floyd or Pac fight rematches with Cotto, they both won convincingly, no need. It's not like a big controversy like Pac-JMM III or even May-Ortiz.

I'm calling Chavez-Cotto in October at Cowboy Stadium.

The only 1 of those 3 Cotto can beat is Pacman.

I don't think he beats any of them. Manny and Floyd still beat him, and Chavez is going to be too damn big. But it'd be a major fight for Cotto's legacy to win a title in a 4th weight class.

I'm surprised they mentioned Chavez Jr. and not Canelo. It's a much more winnable fight with similar dollars involved.
