Lets stick to reality & facts.

Fact of the matter is, floyd has yet to face a legit prime hall of fame fighter. Stop trying to move the goal post & come up with some lame ass excuse about being scared to fight floyd.

Who has the universal reputation of being a scared cherry picking ducker?

    FLOYD.

Who has been accused of protecting & padding his undefeated record?

    FLOYD.

Who has been called a coward on national television by boxing analysts & who acknowledged those same criticisms?

    FLOYD.

Who is the overwhelming majority of the boxing world & sporting world blaming for the fight not happening against his first prime legit bona fide hall of famer pacquiao?

    FLOYD.

There's a common denominator in all these fights not happening.

    FLOYD.

& dont bother pullin up the video of floyd eons ago calling out all the big names. that doesnt prove a thing. everybody calls out everybody in interviews. Talk is cheap.

comparing the amount of legit prime bona fide hall of famers fought & beaten by ray robinson in comparison to floyd is a futile & asinine exercise.
yo man, did floyd **** your wife or something? I mean jesus this isnt even trolling hate, this is legitimate salty hatred coming from you. calm down homie, theres plenty of fish in the sea.

not all debates are one sided, just cause you dont agree with something, and have your own OPINION on the subject, doesnt make it right, or true. the grass is not always greener on the other side young padawan...

your answer is so convoluted that i dont even know where to begin. You start off talking about ray robinson only beat 1 prime fighter then you go off on some other tangent about other fighters beating a washed up robinson....

Floyd can say what he wants who cares....does that have anything to do with what happens in the ring? Man you dont know how rare it is when two hall of famers or great fighters fight in their prime.

Pernell Whitaker, Manny Pacquaio, Rocky Marciano, Bob Foster, Joe Frazier etc. never did. their are alot of all-time greats and hall of famers who didnt so does that mean they arent great fighters?

Pac has MAB 1 & JMM 2. Both were wins & both of them wer prime & legit HOF.

Frazier has ali, pernell has chavez jr. Marciano falls under the same boat of su****ious undefeated records as floyd has because almost all of maricano's notable wins were past prime fighters.

None of those fighters were bashing past & current greats & claiming to be the greatest because he's undefeated & they werent.

      • Nothing. You cant twist people with an agenda. Anyhow, keep doing what he does for the past 3 fights. Of course, one could say they were overmatched. I have that opinion as well but imo they were the best fights that can be at that timeframe with exception of a pacquiao matchup.

Junior Jones beat a prime Barrera twice, not Manny Pacquaio.....You dont even believe Barrera and Marquez were in their prime you just say it ROFL

When Manny fought Barrera he was 29 and 60 fights into his career 2 wars with Morales, two loss to Junior Jones, and that brawl with McKinney. if you think he was at his best your are blind

Marquez was 48-3-1 and was 34-35 years old, thats not prime

do you even know the meaning of prime?

              • If Mayweather officially called out Sergio martinez right now for the 154/or 160 title, win or loose no one would ever discredit him for not taking on a danerous apponent.
It is a ssimple as that.

Cotto, ortiz, shot mosley ? come on the where not exactly the most dangerous apponents around at the time.

Take notice in no shape or form am i trying to discridit his boxing abilitys all im saying is that there where many times he could have chosen a more dangerous fight that would have given us fans a chance to see have good he really is.

I am a huge mayweather fan, he is a wizard inside the ring so dont call me a ******* or some childish ****.

                • i have no problem, calling floyd mayweather jr., a great fighter, but some of the ridiculous statements, that some of his biggest fans make, border on the insane...

like when a poster recently stated, that the 2000 version of floyd mayweather jr., who campaigned in the 130lb. weight class, could have jumped up 3 weight classes, and beat easily a prime oscar de la hoya, the version who beat ike quartey, atg pernell whitaker, and fernando vargas, who arguably beat felix trinidad, and threw down man style, with shane mosley....just because floyd mayweather jr., was calling oscar de la hoya out, in 2000, should not mean, you should get gassed up on that, like oscar de la hoya, was ducking floyd mayweather jr....again, i have no problem, calling floyd mayweather jr. a great fighter, but some of his fans, need to get off his love muscle a little bit...

right now, imo, he's one of the best fighter's in this generation, and not in any other, until all the chips are cashed in...

people forget that Arum did not want to put Cotto in the ring versus Floyd. They saw Cotto as potentially a huge star and did not want Floyd damping that. Arum had an interview where he said this years ago.

skill wise he deserves to be up there and people have also crtizised the way he fights as well as the opponents

funny enough his last two fights have been pretty entertaining

i think floyd has earned the right to be crowned p4p but to me he isn't better than say a ray leonard or even roy jones jr for that matter

defensive genius yes but he has hand picked opponents and caught guys at the tail end of ther careers there is no doubt about that imo
Nobody gets everybody at thier pick.....Floyd is no exception. Remember time frames are every important when judging a boxer's career. I also think from jr welter up Floyd is a bonus......his career did not start there. What do you think?
