Both have styles and tools that could give each other trouble.

I'll take Arguello by close Decision.

    No one's getting stopped here.

Arguello by close but UD. His height and power would give Marquez fits in my opinion.

I picked Marquez...no stoppages....In Marquez prime he had faster hands and feet than he does now and does get hit as often...I think he'd score more points and Arguello though very skilled, could be a little straight up and would get hit by Marquez right hand and uppercut(left) cleanly.....Arguello probably would score a kd but I just see Marquez landing more frequently in a close fight

You think JMM can afford to be getting hit by Arguello right hand?

Arguello has the capability to knock out anyone at 130 with a single right hand. Anyone.

But, I don't think he'd KO JMM. He doesn't know how to stay down.

            Probably get dropped though.

I think he gets dropped for sure, he gets hit too much. The size and length of Arguello would be a problem. I don't think JMM has ever fought anyone who's as close to Arguello when it comes to power. I think he would have stayed down if he was getting hit by Arguello instead of Pac at the lower weights.

But, I actually go with the safe bet that Arguello wins a decision.

Arguello UD. Height, reach, and power advantages, and was more efficient with his shots. Both counter-based fighters. Marquez throws a lot of looping, off-balance punches which would get punished in this one by the bigger and longer man. JMM would eat at least one knockdown.

Arguello too big for Marquez. I'll say Arguello by UD but have no problems with someone thinking that Marquez gets hit by a big right and stays down this time.

                    Hard fight for either fighter

no way this ends by ko though.
