    prime Marquez didnt get hit clean nearly as much as he does now especially once he slowed down and moved up past 130....I think both would have moments when they got hurt, considering Arguello was hittable as well and didnt have a granite chin although a good one for sure....he could get dropped by a counter and Marquez could get dropped by that right hand or uppercut

    Marquez did throw looping shots but he has very good hand speed and lands most of those shots clean....

      At 130 he has been prone on being dropped. I saw a prime JMM live in attendance in the forum. Yes in his prime he was more defensive minded, still not good enough to be Arguello, once he lost a step he became offensive minded which was the case at 130 and he was prone on getting knockdown. If Arguello landed as much as Pac, JMM isn't surviving.

        I see what you saying, but you have to add into the fact that a straight right is easier to defend than a straight left or looping left....Marquez was dropped often times because he didnt see the punch that was coming, not taking anything away from Manny's power
