Molina-Lara was more decisive than Lara-Williams???
I know you're not serious. Molina-Lara could be debated for either fighter winning, but Lara-Williams was one of the more one-sided fights I've seen in recent years. So one-sided was Lara-Williams, I wrote a letter of protest to the New Jersey State Athletic Commission in Trenton, NJ. And everyone in my Facebook boxing group was heavily in agreement with my letter. If any of you would like to see the letter, just hit me up in my Facebook boxing group and I will be glad to share it with you. The name of the group is KO Boxing. Request admission and as soon as I see your request, I will admit you.
Getting back to Lara-Williams -- the beating of Paul was so bad, HBO commentators were at one point suggesting the fight should be stopped. That's how many overhand lefts Williams got hit with, over and over and over. I score the fight 9-3 for Lara, but to be generous, I gave one of the few close rounds to Paul, so let's call it 8-4 Lara. All told, Williams won no more than three rounds in that fight, four tops. It was one of the more wretched robberies you will see in the sport. Go watch it again when you have the chance.
