How big is the fish now, after two years? That fight was a crap and against a handicap Lara he couldn't do ****, still Lara connected the best punches of the fight and hurt Molina in the finals round, a win for neither a draw was fair, he make the fight ugly and deserved some for that effort but he didn't dominated ala Abril-Rios, Lara-Williams or Campillo-Cloud, stop the BS...

Having said that, Iwould't mind seen Lara or Molina vs Canelo both of those guys are more deserving than the rest of the 154 pounders.
Of course I make a better promoter, they are doing nothing for him, even you could do a better job just by mentioning Lara-Molina on the same sentence with Canelo...

          Fight Lara!

But clearly Kirkland wasn't going to be ready, I was kinda shocked that his name was being mentioned honestly

they might wait and see if Austin Trout wins and look IMPRESSIVE tomorrow against Delvin Rodriguez, but I don't get why Lara is not being Mentioned

How did Lara receive a gift without winning?

The fight was a draw. Not 97-93 in favor of Lara. Nobody won. It was an ugly fight and there will be a rematch in due time. Get over it.

He outclassed a top fighter in his division who was labeled one of the most feared fighters in boxing. No one had dominated the Paul Williams the way Lara did over the coutse of 12 rounds.

Get over it. Lara deserves this shot just as much if not more than any other fighter mentioned as a potential candidate. He's stepped up and fought 2 of the best junior middleweights in the world.

Man if you said that Molina beat Lara with more clarity than Lara-Williams then you are the one lacking objectivity, ask none Cubans and Mexicans fans that question and you will c that it was a *****ty fight, that Molina make the fight very ugly (kudos) that Lara landed the most telling blows of the fight and hurt Molina in the 8 or 9, only his lack of training and being sick 3 days before the fight (not Molina's fault) prevent him from finish him off, now we are talking about a fight against Canelo now, who do you think have a better chance of winning, Lara or Molina? Be honest please...

who give a *** about Lara vs Molina, we are talking about Lara vs Alvarez...God Bless Williams but he got a gift against Lara and Alvarez was getting ready to fight him as did Kirkland over Molina (ironically)...so because Lara got a gift against Molina, he shouldn't get to fight Alvarez?

It is the convenience of the "matchmakers", and I don't c a gift on Lara's resume, I c a big draw that he is ashame of it and wants to erase it, figure speaking of course, but you know canelo's fans they know they idol will be in real deep $h1t fighting Lara, and they are doing what GBP and Sulaiman, put Lara in the back of the bus and it doesn't matter the excuse.

But, I'm looking at what makes for Golden Boy here...And, what will sell.

You really are not being realistic. That will never happen.
You are right about the first thing I highlighted but you are dead wrong about Canelo being a hype job.. Yeah he is young and is being marketed well by Golden Boy, just like Oscar was when he started.. WTF I know you do realize Canelo is only 21.. GTFOH with that bull!!

Not many boxing fans are sharp enough to understand this. They don't seem to care that they're being fed stale Bumble Bee tuna, so long as they're not being fed SPAM!

Golden Boy being a more "ethical" promoter than Top Rank lasted for all of 27 days...
