BoxingScene.com has received confirmation from Cameron Dunkin, the manager of James Kikrland, that his boxer's shoulder is still bothering him and he won't be able to move forward with a scheduled fight with WBC junior middleweight title Saul "Canelo" Alvarez on September 15th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Im not surprised at all, I was shocked that Kirkland was announced as Canelo's opponent because I knew his shoulder wouldnt be ready by September. Im sure Kirkland's camp knew that too, that was a waste of time.

Give the shot to Erislandy Lara or Carlos Molina, they the most deserving
