He had a chance to fight Bute last year, he didn't think $1.3m was enough to fight that southpaw.

Or was it that WBC Youth Welterweight title he held way back in 2006 that qualified him?
Bradley has been the #1 fighter at 140 pounds for years. Kelly hasn't done much as of late.

        Poor comparison on your part.

I don't really see the point. If Froch wins he beats a shot alcoholic and gets no credit like the Bute win but if he loses, he losses to a has-been Pavlik and everyone will say he was a bum all along.

££££££ is the point. Froch hardly had a money Mayweather career. Another full house in Nottingham in a fight that would garner real interest both sides of the pond, would mean top money for a fight in between Kessler.

A fight that Froch should win comfortably enough but a tough enough fight for Froch to say he doesn't take easy fights.

          Ticks all the boxes.

Like I said - two warriors, UK V America for who has the ultimate blue collar warrior - it sells.

Two guys that won't take a backward step, another home fight for Froch.

And, there's already plenty of mouth and needle between them.

People both sides of the pond will tune in for this one - if it makes money, it makes sense.

Since when do welterweights weigh 140 pounds? Of course they don't and you are missing my point. I only responded because he stated that Pavlik has done nothing as a super middleweight and therefore does not deserve to fight Froch. Well, first off Pavlik is free to speak his mind and say what ever he wants about Froch, which by all accounts is pretty common within the sport of boxing. And secondly he isn't even, as of yet, going to fight Froch within a division were he has not proved himself. However, Bradley is going to fight for a title in a division were he has not proved himself. So, if you want to just talk about fighters proving themselves in a particular division they are pretty equal. Pavlik has yet to prove much as at 168 and the same can be said about Bradly at 147. And if he has prove me wrong.

I want to see this fight. Make it happen if the Kessler fight doesn't come through.

At this point of his carrer, Kelly coming in at 168 fighting a bigger stronger Froch that has a good chin would be too much for him.

Word on the street is Bute wants to exercise his rematch clause and doesn't care if its for the belt or not.

So don't know when that fight'll happen - could be next though.
