Lets stick pavlik on carls resume just to enhance it even further, im up for it! However it will be a case of 'but pavlik was shot and a middleweight' just like 'taylor was winning' just like 'pascal would win in a rematch etc'...

Good name for his resume but pavlik will get his arse handed to him in nottingham. In fact i think a re-grouped bute would do a number on pavlik regardless of his last outing, i would even favour old glen johnson over him..

Look at the state of pavlik these days:

I personally believe you underestimate Pavlik. And now with a new trainer and hopefully he is off the booze and these can't be anything but positive changes.

I saw the fights and I could show you highlights of Froch actually losing two fights and even three if I included highlights of the Dirrell fight. But why would I bother I am sure you watched the fights. I have to ask do you think Froch is good enough to avoid Pavlik's punches? I don't and if Pavlik can hit him he has a great chance to win.

Pavlik is a ****er big strong guy who can punch depending on how much he has left in the tank I think he has a chance to beat Froch

Wow, strange how the highlights of Pavlik dropping Martinez vanished from your response. What happened was that to positive for Kelly?

Problem for you is froch won that fight...highlights can be manipulated! Direll folded every time froch tried to make a fight...stop acting like direll won! Direll deserved an acting medal...

And barely beating a bum is similar to losing to great SMW's kessler (by a close margin) and ward?? lol

Problem for kelly is froch has a granite chin!!

Pavlik is a train wreck these days! I'l still watch though...

Pavlik has looked anything but a big puncher above 160 I don't think he carries the weight well at all he looks very slow and sluggish at the weight also Pavlik is easier to hit than Froch imo.

although this is a fun fight its a nothing fight for Froch even after Froch dominates and stops Pavlik he gets no credit for beating an alcoholic middleweight who hasn't beat anyone of note since or before Taylor way back in 2008.

Pavlik needs to prove himself at 168 before Froch should even consider this fight.

Froch is all wrong for pavlik at this point

froch is a bigger man then pavlik with just as long reach, Froch is cagy and crafty and pavlik will not be abel to land those long straights.

But the most dangerous asset froch has i this fight is his ambush attack ability, sometimes you watch him and he looks so slow, then out of nowhere he explodes and lands damaging straight rights and upper cuts like he is a completely different fighter.
He knocked out Bute and hurt Kessler and abraham that way.

                    UD/TKO froch

I'd love to see this fight. If no Kessler, ward or bite... They should make this. People forget, he almost fought bute last year, he could've been a champ by now
