Stylistic it could be a problem for froch. However, froch could pose problems of his own if he could get pass the jab and ruff Dawson up on the inside. But it depends on which verson of Dawson shows up. The determined aggressive version that fought Bernard, or the passive one that lost against Pascal.

Since I think Kessler will beat Froch, and Ward will beat Dawson[unfortunately ], I would still love to see Dawson vs Froch regardless of them coming off losses. Maybe they would agree on a catchweight in between SMW and LHW. Too many match ups to be made at 168-175 to care about losses. Froch came off a loss to Ward and look what he did to Bute.

Ward, Dawson, Hopkins, Froch, Kessler, Dirrell, Pascal, Bute, Campillo, Bika, Johnson, Cloud, Pavlik Abraham, Rodriguez, Groves, DeGale, Grachev, Sillakh. So much you could do with that roster, and 168-175 are so close to each other, they're like 140-147. Fighters can just move down or up to make fights.

You guys seriously think Dawson has a shot against Froch at 168? The guy is going to be weight-drained, he hasn't fought at 168 for 6 years. He'll be a shadow of his former self. And remember their common opponent Jean Pascal? Remember that Froch beat Pascal, and Dawson lost to Pascal? And that was when Dawson was at a comfortable 175. He'll get slaughtered by Froch at 168 when he has to drain down to make weight. Exactly, now you guys are starting to wake up.

But if you reverse the situation Froch would get beat by Dawson at 175, and maybe even knocked out. All I'm saying is at 168 Dawson won't be the same fighter, Froch beats him fairly easily.

Chad has a style that is all wrong for Froch in the NORMAL WORLD...but Chad at 168 is NOT normal imo...dude is a big ass LHW, borderline CW....so I'm not sold on him being the NORMAL Chad Dawson at SMW...I have to see it to believe it....Chad beats the whole S6 imo at a reasonable weight

This Superman Froch stuff is getting goofy. He had a great fight. Let's enjoy that and not set ourselves up for disappointment. I predict the next thread will be "Froch vs prime Tyson".
