at 168 he can make a late rally i guess, chad gets one of those lapses as a 6'3 fighter at 168 he's likely not going to have the sturdiest chin and he can be stopped, froch has the will to do it

I think at 168 both froch and ward beat dawson at 175 dawson beats froch ... not sure about ward at 175

Skill for skill, no freaking way. With the weight though, it may be possible...Dawson will have a hard time making 168 and the pressure may be too much for Dawson at that weight.

Props to Carl Froch. But I think his win says more about Bute then it does Carl. No one really knew what Bute would do when he stepped up. We know who Dawson and Froch truly are. ARmed with that knowledge I feel strongly Dawson beats Froch easily IMO.

This Superman Froch stuff is getting goofy. He had a great fight. Let's enjoy that and not set ourselves up for disappointment. I predict the next thread will be "Froch vs prime Tyson".

But Froch would beat prime Tyson at 168 and that's the key factor about this thread the fight being at 168.

And you hardly have to be superman to beat Dawson I've never seen Pascal wearing a cape.

a bunch of you guys are saying that its a bad style match for froch but I disagree. i think you guys are saying that and assuming that all boxers will be a bad match for froch because of the ward fight. chad fights nothing like ward, he is a rangy fighter that doesn't like being pressured much and prefers not to fight on the inside.

froch would be too much pressure for dawson at 168, he would walk through him and destroy him because dawson won't have power or enough physical strength at that weight. dawson is mentally weak and the cobra is a warrior, his will is too much for a drained dawson end of story

Froch would beat Dawson at 168. Dawson won't be the same fighter he is at 175, it's been way too long since he fought at 168. Froch's pressure would be too much for the weight drained Dawson. He'll pull a De La Hoya vs Pac and retire on the stool.

Froch had a big win over Bute and he s=deserves creidt for it. IMO the win was more about Bute being over rated then Froch being great, but froch still deserves all the credit for a massive ass whoopin.

Fighting Chad Dawson is a big difference. Lets be honest. Even at 168.
