Will Carl Froch always be ranked below Joe Calzaghe because hes been defeated

His resume is no doubt aboves joe now.

    ONLY COUNTING A-CLASS FIGHTERS

    Calzaghe:

    Roy Jones
    Bernard Hopkins
    Mikkel Kessler
    Chris Eubanks

    VS

    Carl Froch:

    Jermain Taylor
    Glen Johnson
    Andre Dirrell
    Lucian Bute
    Mikkel Kessler
    Jean Pascal
    Arthur Abraham
    Andre Ward

So will he always be ranked below joe simply because he took the risk that joe never did and therefore lost his '0'

Being undefeated doesnt really matter what matters is Calzaghe was the man in two weight divisions.
Froch on the other hand has just beaten his first reigning abc champion the two previous ones were vacant titles.

I'm not so sure these guys can be considered A Class fighters. Could probably chuck Pascal in there too.

I think the difference is Froch has fought these guys back-to-back.

What was Calzaghe's hardest run? Kessler and Hopkins.

People are comparing their careers to each other and Froch still has a good few years in him yet.

He's not always going to be under Calzaghe.

Direll and johnson are not A class!

Byron Mitchell is a 2X WBA SMW champ who beat ATG supermiddleweight and#1 ranked frankie Liles (something andre Ward is praised for doing)! Liles beat michael nunn ffs! How is direll A class and mitchell not???

Mitchell floored liles 4 times in the fight, he was also the first man to stop liles! That is a seriously overlooked win,and liles is a seriously overlooked fighter.

Mitchell was rated in the ring mag SMW top ten for 5 years. He was 25-2 with 1 draw at the time he fought joe, his 2 losses (to men like bruno girard who was a WBA SMW and LHW champion) were debateable decisions too.

Abraham at SMW is not A class, mitchell beat liles! Who did abraham beat? Mitchell has a better win at SMW than nearly all of those men listed but because calzaghe fought him hes a bum!!!!

Not only cos Froch lost, but nearly losing as well, like to JT. But also not beating common opponents as good as JC. And people not thinking he could actualy beat JC as well.

                It all adds up.

I don't think so. That's all I'm going to say. I've been in some heated discussions about Joe & his legacy. Don't feel like it right now.

Almost everyone beats Carl Froch on paper though, it rarely turns out that straightforward in the ring.

Fwiw, I think Calzaghe beats him on paper too, but if Froch dragged him into the trenches...
