Mayweather has beaten everyone put in front of him his whole career....43-0 dont lie.....add into the equation he has beaten more world champions in 16 less fights....beat 10 world titlists in a row, something Manny hasnt done, and has won more championship fights....21-0 compared to 16-1-2

Also Mayweather outside of Judah most of Mayweathers top flight opponents are coming off good showings unlike Pacquaio

Depends on what you mean good showings? Does it matter if they come off good showings, even if they got 5 losses on their record like SSM, and DLH.? Or was hatton coming off a good showing nearly losint to Collazo and admitting he was finding it hard at 147, so what do you mean exactly?

Not to mention Pac has just fought better fighters in the earlier part of his career, and beat people more convincinly than FLoyd in the later part of his career.

Some one posted this in one of the previous threads....Ive always thought about it but I have to agree.Most people add into how likeable a fighter is when considering their place among the greats, but really it has no creedance.

Of the previous p4p kings Mayweather(who never lost and is still active Manny got p4p by default), Roy Jones, and Pernell Whitaker none of them got the praise of Pacquiao and they were more dominant and illustrated more skill in the ring

Fighters who were undoubtedly the best of their time like Roy Jones and Pernell Whitaker didnt recieve half the hoopla Pacquaio does and both beat their closest rivals of their time. Both never lost a clear fight til their mid 30's and dominated their eras and people always have something to say about their style or competition. Jones and Floyd Mayweather beat more champions than Manny, and Whitaker proved he was the best of his era by fighting the best


I think its his fans that overrate him, but most hardcore fans and other people dont....some of his ardent fans assertions are a bit far fetched and overboard

Im not adding statistics up, i lost count when Pacs stats got too high. But you think Pac is overated and not Floyd, even though Pacs got statitics Floyd cant boast?

im not downgrading him at all, if you could read i said he is one of the best fighters of the past 25 years.....he just isnt THE BEST of the past 25 years

Floyd isnt overrated because he is the most skilled fighter of the past generation and all people do it put him down and his accomplishments, say he is scared, he runs, this that etc. they dont like him as a person, I couldnt care less

you stopped adding up statistics cuz you cant ignore the truth...if you **** on Mayweathers competition you have to do the same with Manny who has fought less champions....won less title fights....and defended his titles less times

It all depends on who's doing the rating.

Pac is the most overrated fighter in the last 25 years. So is Floyd, so either Klitschko brother, so is Hopkins etc etc.

For my book and from what I read on here Oscar and Judah are easily way more overrated than Pac is...Easily. But, again I don't personally rate these guys or think highly of these guys as other posters do. Which again it all depends on who's doing the rating.
