Vitali should fight Hayes so he can knock him out.

If his little bro could not knock out Haye Vitali sure as hell ain't going to do it either. Why? Because he will not be able to hit Haye the track star.

What the hell is double standards about "Give him a shot if he wants?" ?? It's his own responsbility if he decides to sign the contract, if the thinks he ain't ready, fine.

The double standard is you think it would be ok for Vitaly to fight a guy with less than 20 fights and coming off injury but excuse him for not rematching Byrd because he needed time to rehab his own injury even though he fought only weeks after his brother and Byrd fought. You try and mask this double standard with "give him a shot if he wants" and will pretend to not love the idea of your hero getting a wounded duck even though he didn't have the balls to do the very thing you want Helenius to do when he could have rematched Byrd. Its a double standard and its pathetic my friend.

Rethinking it, I personally don't think Helenius deserved a fight with Vitali now after his last more or less embarassing performance against Chisora. But if he decides to combe back in October (7 months after his injury) and says he's fully healed, you can't really call him wounded anymore. Also Vitali could have rematched Byrd at any time but thought he didn't need to.

Rethinking it, I personally don't think Helenius deserved a fight with Vitali now after his last more or less embarassing performance against Chisora. Second, can you please provide links of Vitaly saying he "thought he didn't need to" rematch Byrd? The scorecards may have been wide, but the rounds were close and he still lost. On top of that the German crowd was cheering Byrd. Why would any fighter not want to avenge a defeat like that unless it was just plainly a bad styles match up for him?

Take away all the ex cruiserweights and the division are just a bunch of journeymen from any other era. Put the cruiserweights back in and it gets even worse.

actually, HW journeyman from other eras were the lifeblood of boxing at the box office and were always in shape.

Showing links to the words YOU attributed to Vitaly is of no use? Sorry but that's just a cop out for not being able to back your claim. I have no doubt if you had these links you'd jump at the chance to prove me wrong.
