This is why the heavywight division is a joke, none of these guys stand a chance, more of the top 10 need to go head to head to get more experience and earn a title shot, instead of getting a shot because of your promoter or manager.

I never said he was ducking them.

And Fury has fought like 8 times in the past year.

These fights are possible fight for the future in the next 6 months (Fury) to 18 months (Price)

And would be much better contests than the fights Boente has offered up.

But the no.1 fight for Vitali is David Haye. I hope Vitali takes the fight and if he doesn't want it, he should retire.

Seth Mitchell is fighting Johnathan Banks next?? Excellent matchup!

Good god, the Klitschkos have picked the division dry. May as well take care of Stiverne and maybe Helenius before retiring.

All these guys like Perez, Boystov, Price, Wilder ect. realize they're not going to have a shot in the dark against Klitschko. If they take their careers slowly, Vitali will be retired and Wlad will be on his way out in 3-4 years.

Boente has called a Chisora/Haye elimination for the title a "perfect plan", so where's the problem. But Vitali needs another fight inbetween that, Wach or Boytsov would be good choices. Helenius too, if he's healed.

So if Boente goes back on his word, you won't be happy with it.

I don't mind a fighter taking a easy fight from time to time, so Vitali can fight who he like in his next fight, but should Haye win, I want no excuses from Boente or Vitali on why the fight can't happen with Haye.

But that list Boente has put out is pitiful and if that is Vitalis plan's for his next couple of years he should retire now.

One exception, if Vitali becomes mayor of Kiev and retires, I won't blame him for it.

                  Bold = Sauerland boxers.

Boytsov needs practice after his hand injury, while Haye is busy fighting Chisora. Vitali wants to become mayor of Kiev in October, so Haye and Chisora are out. Obese Solis ist out as well I guess.

That said, I'd like to see Vitali fighting someone worthy before his imminent retirement.

                  About Helenius:

                  in case someone missed this.

I won't blame Vitali either if he chooses to retire, the guy is 40 and has had a very good career and is not the force he once was.

But if you are a champ and you not fighting the best available at least once a year then you are doing boxing a disservice.
