Are we talking about 2 years ago again? Haye went to the Vitali/Chisora press conference and told Boente and Vitali to their face that he had agreed all their demands. Did they deny it? No Boente changed the subject and started playing Chisora and Haye off against each other. Boente then said multiple times in articles they had no interest and would not fight Haye. They waited until Chisora/Haye was in play and sent another offer for september, Haye said he would fight in September if he won. What do the Klitschko team do? Name a bunch of green fighters and bums to fight in September and will likely sign so they can't fight the Haye/Chisora winner. It's so damn obvious they dont want it.

Take away all the ex cruiserweights and the division are just a bunch of journeymen from any other era. Put the cruiserweights back in and it gets even worse.

What the hell is double standards about "Give him a shot if he wants?" ?? It's his own responsbility if he decides to sign the contract, if the thinks he ain't ready, fine.

Not one of those fights would be competitive.

Again, pure speculation. And it's the champion's right to demand another fight from a challenger who just came back from a 1-year layoff after a fight he lost. The negotiations between K2 and Booth/Haye is one word against another and subject of speculation. All we know is Haye ducked out of a signed - SIGNED - contract once already and K2 doesn't want to postpone fight negotiations to wait for him.

Helenius has been in surgery as he broke his shoulder quite severely in his fight against Chisora. The news in Finland has been told that he has started training but is not allowed to punch with his right yet. They also told that he is heading for comeback fight which will most probably take place in september or october.

Lawrence or Stiverne would be my choices. Lawrence is actually a pretty decent heavy, he's just flown under the radar for years. Mitchell isn't ready, Charr and Ortiz I know next to nothing about, and Wach is absolute crap.
