Bull ****!! That was a close fight going into the 11th round. I agree Floyd won but it was a close fight. Cotto was landing that jab at will. he slowed down the last two rounds and Mayweather closed the show in style. It was a good fight and Mayweather won but it was a close fight. Remember that Cotto also blocked many of Mayweather's right hands.

Yes, mayweather had an easy night with cotto, he was in total control. Cotto had moments when he change his old stile "Mexican bull" for the "cuban rumba" he was able to win some rounds by just boxing, two or max three rounds, that was all.

Mayweather closed the show in style but if Cotto would have won the last two rounds he would have won the fight in my view. The judges were given Mayweather all the close rounds to make sure they didnt mess up the potential clash with Manny Pacquiao. Pacquiao will kill mayweather if they ever meet1

It's hard for me to talk shit about Cotto in regards to his rivalry with Floyd, because he did just the opposite of what Roger says and he took it to Floyd for a big part of the fight. Cotto still gets backed down from pressure fighters though.

Not at 154 against smaller guys he wont get backed down , why do you people totally ignore the weight , its like all you see is the fighter and not the differences the weight makes !

I thought Cotto won 4 rounds and it was tied going into the 9th (or tenth I forget). Mayweather may have won a UD but he didn't really put on the show people thought he was going to be able to. Everyone said Mayweather was gonna toy Cotto, finish him off mid to late, or win a wide,wide UD. I heard some fools even saying he was going to 'Gatti' Cotto (as if Gatti is even close to the same level as Cotto).

There were several rounds in the fight that Floyd may have won but he didn't run away with them by any means. If Cotto lands a some more punches in a couple more rounds we could easily have seen a draw or even a win for Cotto.

Roger just says **** like this because he lacks any sort of class.

agree with roger. floyd loves to lay on the ropes to roll and counter which he did all night long. the bloody nose and his willingness to fight toe to toe made the fight look closer than it actually was. miguel showed a good jab, that's all you can say.

The Mayweathers are idiots but i agree with Roger on this one. Cotto just got outclassed by FloydJr. I will say that Cotto fought better than i have ever seen him fight but I still only gave him 3 rounds in a better than expected fight. Hard to ignore that Miguel was rocked badly by a Past his Prime Mayweather in the last round and was lucky Floyd didnt push for a stoppage. But Cotto will get another Payday with Chavez Jr or Canelo or maybe a rematch with Rogers nephew, so he will be ok.

This is the same guy that said " Castillo didn't do **** in that first fight ". anyway rounds 3, 6,and 8 were clear rounds for Cotto, there were also a couple of really close rounds that USUALLY go to the champion unless your in Floyd's hometown of course.

Castillo was robbed in that first fight. he clearly won it!!!!!!!!!

This quote sounds like it came from the Juan Manuel Marquez fight. Golden Boy and the promotion where telling the public the same thing with JMM fight. He moved forward and lost, easily, instead of trying to outbox Floyd by using his counter punching ability. Floyd needs come forward fighters to make him look good.

OMG son you are getting floyd and pac mixed up. it does not matter the style when it comes to floyd. he can fight any style. had cotto tried to out box floyd it would have been a complete shut out. so cotto made it a war and gained a huge measure of respect by doing so. and mind you this is the cotto that pac wanted no part of. and give cotto's team credit. they did what they had to do. unlike half dead roach who cant make adjustments or teach his fighters how to handle multiple styles. aside from JMM how many boxer/counter punchers have pac faced?????? get real man.
