The Mayweathers are idiots but i agree with Roger on this one. Cotto just got outclassed by FloydJr. I will say that Cotto fought better than i have ever seen him fight but I still only gave him 3 rounds in a better than expected fight. Hard to ignore that Miguel was rocked badly by a Past his Prime Mayweather in the last round and was lucky Floyd didnt push for a stoppage. But Cotto will get another Payday with Chavez Jr or Canelo or maybe a rematch with Rogers nephew, so he will be ok.

If he didn't have a choice, how was suddenly able to move around the ring with wreckless abandon in the championship rounds? Usually if you're legs are gone you can't move in the later rounds. Cotto went Mayweathers body all night long and his legs were still there in round 12.

Floyd had to use his legs, did you not see the 8th round? Cotto is better than Floyd if Floyd stays on the ropes, sorry end of discussion. Floyd wasn't gassed, but if he stayed in the ropes he would have lost more and more rounds.

Cotto won more than 2 rounds anyone who says otherwise is a ***** and a dumbass. The 3rd round Cotto landed 1 less punch I believe and his punches have more pop. Not saying you can't give Floyd the round but it was a toss up round, same with the 5th and the 10th IMO. If you watch the fight again you can see which rounds were close, when they each heard the 10 second warning go off they tried to get that last shot in, these were the 7th, 3rd, 5th and 10th rounds. Giving all those rounds Floyd is biased just as giving all those rounds to Cotto would be biased. Cotto won 4 rounds and 5 if you are being VERY NICE, he didn't win the fight.

I saw Cotto winning 4 rounds. Floyd fought Cotto's fight, nevertheless he won easily. In a rematch, if there is going to be one, Floyd will use all of his resources as he did in the last round and might, in my humble opinion, knock Cotto out. Do not get me wrong, Cotto is a hell of a fighter!!!

That said, even as a fan of Floyd's I would love...... LOVE to see him get up off his a$$ after being dropped and dig deep and display real heart like a lot of other fighters have had to display.

If he keeps fighting I think we will see it... Martinez at 154-160??? I'm game.
