I smell a distinct case of Hatton-KT and Jones-Tarver (pre fight)......

I went for a Taylor win.... straight up. No rounds or anything. I just said he would win.

this is hardly the only thread where people are bashing him for his performance (a winning one at that) and unless you've asked them all, you dont know that for sure..not that it matters anyway.

what?? are you talking about? i'm talking about the fact that the only people that picked 'Hopkins KO' are people that obviously are very pro-Hopkins, aren't thinking logically or fairly to both fighters equally, or just don't know either fighter or their history.

well, and i picked, like many, Hopkins decision. That didn't happen. For the last time i'm ever write this, the judges gave the close fight to Jermain Taylor. End of story, there's too much else going on in boxing right now that should be being discussed to keep messing with this back-and-forth, 5th grade bickering.

Cmon man, I know it's hard to accept cuz you a BHop fanboi. It was a close fight, but a 115-113 UD by all 3 judges is very to go against. ESPECIALLY, now that Jermain has beaten Hop 2 times in a row.

same here...100 mil. pts on it for that matter.
It's like hop fans bet taylor would lose, and when he didnt, all they can find to complain about is HOW taylor beat him...They should be complaining about Nards performance instead, since he's the one that lost because of it. He knew what he had to do to win..he simply didnt do it.

interesting fact to keep in mind here: Dirt E Gomez lost all of his points he betted on Hopkins to beat Taylor. Mo than 1 billion.

You see the connection wit his material?

Look at the official scorecards, and the way rounds were scored by numerous people on this site. If there are a lot of discrepencies throughout a fight in who won what round, that means those were usually toss up rounds and the fight will be decided by the judge who gives more of the 50/50 rounds to one fighter.
