that's one of the weakest point Dirt E Gomez has brought up in the whole thread man!
Maybe I should just pretend I'm you: "Dont worry guys. I know my ****. Just trust me. I don't need facts. My opinions and knowledge is unsurpassed. Trust me."

My point exactly. and how can they just discredit how great he's looked against other fighters?? Suddenly beating Taylor in a less than exciting manner makes him "unwilling to be great"??

            hmm

These articles are meant to incite debate, and I guess they will because so far they all have been complete dog****. Taylor unwilling to be great? That's a blatantly hating point of view to take. How can you say that? No one knows what he'll do in the future, but given that he fought the champ so early one would think he has plans to fight the best.

I like how you people take credit from Taylor for not dominating Hopkins when you all said he was gonna get KO'd by Hopkins.

Yeah the article was wrong i thought. Admitedly Hopkins was old on both visits, and this may be the point that some people are trying to make. But lets face it, Taylor fighting Hopkins, with Hopkins status any earlier than he already did... is that realistic? I dont think so....

lol, SERIOUSLY, you people are taking that headline WAY too seriously, it's that harsh to draw people to the article (which obviously working in this case)

But yeah, Taylor fans are in a little bit of denial on the board, facts.. Taylor was NOT, lets all say it together, NOT that impressive in this fight last saturday. He has hole's in his game. Unless he makes a few, maybe even slight changes, he's going to get exposed. He's not an undeserving champion, he just has to fix the kinks.

Now in my opinion, from what i saw in the first Hopkins fight and from last saturday, i think Taylor is a much better athlete than a boxer.

and his being 'old' didnt stop most from predicting a ko, nor did it keep hopkins from being undefeated in the past couple yrs. He only became old when he got beat apparently.

were not in denial, we just wanted him to win and he DID! Against Bernard "defensive master" Hopkins, that was enough. Sure, he needs improving, and he's got time for that!!

i doubt anyone that is making arguments about Taylor's performance on this thread predicted "Hopkins by KO".
