is berto's intent really that important? he failed the test.
testing rules are rules put in by professionals who know what they are doing.
what happens now and how his career goes on is dependent on presentation of facts to commission/s. berto may be cleared in due time, but until facts are clear the ortiz fight really couldn't go on.
A drug test is something you either Pass or Fail. There is no Barely Failed drug test, as there is no Barely Passed drug test. Knowingly or not, by how much or how minuscule, unfortunately Berto did NOT PASS the drug test.
Just like board exams, driving exams, sobriety tests, etc.. you pass or fail.
No a drug test isn't something you just Pass and Fail. Most of you guys maybe take a one a day vitamin or Fisher Price Flintstones chewables and that's the extent of your supplement ingestion...in the real world of training **** like this happens with different products...stop being a penis and start with your fake ass strong stance in this topic..the science is there, even if he cheated or not, shut up and go back to being fans of the sport, we wanna see this fights, so if the commission says its a go then let it be....
And stop dropping Floyd or Manny's name, it has nothing to do with this article.
Did you morons actually read the article or just happy to troll? Seriously, some of you must have really pathetic lives.
The amount found in his system was so small that it wouldn't have helped in in any way. I know this happens because it has happened to athletes in the past where they are taking supplements and there's something in there that causes a positive test.
I don't think for one second that Berto or his people are so ****** as to want drug testing and then cheat themselves. It's like when people eat poppy seeds and test positive for an opiate.
I think this fight should go on and I don't think Berto did this on purpose, it happens and they should move on if what the piece says is the truth.

I agree with everything except the last part
regardless of the amount found the fact still lies that he has an illegal substance in his body, on the banned list of substances with VADA and CSAC
if CSAC were allow Berto to fight then it would fly against their own drug policy
Hey, didnt you notice that cyclists always try this excuse, its one of the first out of their lips, but guess what, its doesnt fly cos its still an illegal substance in the body, regardless of how it got there, plus you have to expect lies when athletes are caught unfortunately, they are not going to load up on these illegal substances and take more risks, just enough to make what they see and hope will be a difference, a lot of big fights are so so close, a little edge can be all thats needed and people would use these power pellets if they didnt give that edge, they are just getting caught now imo and scrambling to save their careers imo, if u are unsure about "supplements" then dont take em and dont trust CONTE, simple
and btw people like TIM bradley need to be tested immediately, his classing of synthetic testosterone as just a natural substance that peterson is OK in using should be raising huge flags here, its this attitude that is part of the problem. He doesnt even realise its on the banned list LOL and an anabolic steroid, it may be the no1 cheater weapon as far as i can see
