    Why or Why not Mayweather vs Cotto II ?

    I haven't been in here for a while (maybe you guys already discussed this) but fill me in...

    I mean the fight was entertaining and a few rounds could have went either way. Before the fanatics get out of hand, I thought Floyd won. I just don't believe it was by the margin the judges had it.

    Floyds options (according to himself are limited)....I believe so is Cottos ...so why or why not?

    Cotto takes a knee again, let it go . Mayweather is too good, wont go past 5, gatti beatdown, it is what it is.

      I would rather see Floyd Pac , or Pac vs 150-154 Cotto , as much as it was an entertaining fight it wasnt anything special and Floyd wins again , Id like to see what Pac can do with Cotto without draining him , I think that would be a better fight than Floyd Cotto 11 .

        It wasn't close enough for Mayweather to waste another of his limited fights left on a rematch.

          It will be same fight again.

          I will say it was quite an entertaining fight, with some intense moments. Sure it wasn't a Gatti (RIP) beatdown, but I didn't even expect that.

            There are many scenarios that could get Cotto back into a fight with Floyd and one is by eliminating either of Floyd potential future opponents in Canelo or Pacquiao, or Martinez. then it would make more sense

              I don't want a rematch personally.

              But realistically i think it can happen.

              1. Floyd and Cotto earned a record purse

              2. The fight was entertaining

              3. Floyd's options are self admittedly limited

              4. I was at the fight and a lot of fans booed the decision

              Who else besides Pac can draw that kind of crowd and generate that kind of money?

              I wouldn't be surprised if it goes down unfortunately

                Reasons for;

                None.

                Reasons against;

                The fight wasn't close and was one sided.

                  Mayweather won comfortably and i don't see anything different happening in a rematch.

                    Because Floyd won 118-110/117-111. No need. Good fight, exciting fight, but no need for a rematch.
