Yeah, too many rounds where Floyd got credit for landing defensive jabs while Cotto raked him with power shots.

Basically if you score that fight according to compubox, you're doing it wrong.

Which it sounds like you did. Which is consistent for you.

Yes, i dont like how some of Floyds weak punches score, when his gloves only touch his opponent, but his opponent dont go out of their way to defend as its not going to hurt them type punches.

But it was interesting enough for a rematch, which is unlike a floyd fight, he usually stinks the place out and nobody wants to see him rematch.

Get this won comfortably idea out of your head as its not a barrier to a rematch........it was competive anyway. If a fight is exciting and people enjoyed the fight and would like to see it again that is a basis for a rematch, and Floyd did himself justice, a lot of people enjoyed that fight with Cotto.

But i agree i hope Floyd fights other people now, hes got this Cotto fight out of the way and onwards and upwards.

No issues with a rematch - but not yet.

Just like Pacquiao-Marquez, it was competitive but not exciting.

          New opponents please.

if not pacquiao or martinez, then yes. khan or canelo are not better fighters than cotto. mayweather won fair and square but cotto won some rounds and some others were very tight. he pushed mayweather like no one else since castillo.

                Makes sense.

But realistically i think it can happen.

                1. Floyd and Cotto earned a record purse

                2. The fight was entertaining

                3. Floyd's options are self admittedly limited

                4. I was at the fight and a lot of fans booed the decision

Who else besides Pac can draw that kind of crowd and generate that kind of money?

I wouldn't be surprised if it goes down unfortunately
                Good points

He did but it was entertaining and that the point of PPV numbers...also I didnt ask for 2nd fight scenarios.

I doubt Floyd takes a rematch. He was counting on Cotto being shot and he found out the hard way he miscalculated.
                  I had it 8-4 Floyd but I understand 7-5

How the hell was the hardest fight iven to Floyd not merit a rematch?

Even Max Kellerman wants to see a rematch and said he would pay

A great fight that doesnt need a rematch, I'd wanna see Floyd vs Canelo.
